Men's menopausal insomnia, pay attention to these issues when regulating

Like women, men will also have some physical problems after entering menopause, especially men who are under great pressure in daily life and work. After entering menopause, they always have symptoms of insomnia and their memory will also decline significantly. So, how to treat male menopausal insomnia?

Hormone therapy

First, providing a form of hormone therapy indirectly can be used as a solution to help men get more sleep and severe insomnia during male menopause. Generally, the reproductive system of men begins to degenerate from around the age of 30, and the secretion of male hormones gradually decreases. When male hormones drop to a certain level, insomnia symptoms similar to those of female menopause will appear. Therefore, hormone therapy can be used as one of their ways to control insomnia. Although providing hormone therapy to men may not necessarily promote sleep directly, it can help improve their sleeping habits and thus indirectly improve insomnia.

Dietary adjustments

Secondly, dietary adjustments are also a necessary way to improve sleep. Men with insomnia during menopause should reduce the intake of foods with high sugar content, and pay attention to low-salt, light, and moderate diet. Do not overeat, and do not overeat at dinner. If conditions permit, drink 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey every day. Eat more foods rich in protein, calcium and various vitamins, such as chicken, fish, rabbit meat, etc.; beans and bean products not only contain a lot of plant protein, but also are the "warehouse" of trace elements necessary for the human body; fresh vegetables can be used as the main recipe. Because most men will experience physiological function decline after entering menopause, this is also one of the causes of male insomnia. The solution to insomnia caused by this situation is to eat more foods that can improve and enhance physiological functions, such as shrimp, mutton, lamb kidney, leek and walnuts.
