Simply put, if the bladder is diseased, it is easy to be affected by it, at least for normal urination, resulting in difficulty in urination. So, after suffering from a disease like bladder dampness and heat, what are the symptoms and how to treat it?

Symptoms of Bladder Dampness and Heat

Damp-heat accumulates in the lower bladder. The main symptoms are frequent urination, urgent urination, less and painful urination, yellow and red urine or hematuria, red tongue with yellow fur, rapid pulse, etc. It is more common in acute cystitis. Bladder damp-heat syndrome is a disease caused by damp-heat evil accumulating in the bladder. This syndrome can be caused by damp-heat evil, improper diet, internal injury to the spleen and stomach, internal generation of damp-heat, and bladder. The main clinical manifestations are: frequent and urgent urination, astringent pain in the urethra, short and red urine, dripping and continuous, and lower abdominal distension. Or accompanied by fever and low back pain, or hematuria, sand and stone in the urine, or cloudy urine like paste, red tongue, yellow and greasy fur, and rapid pulse.

Moist heat therapy for bladder:

Topical medication

1. Mash 120g of garlic and 60g of Glauber's salt into a paste and apply it externally to the spine and kidney areas.

2. Boil 30g of Daphne daphne in water to extract the juice, and apply warm compress to the kidney area. The above prescription is mainly used for urinary obstruction or urinary drip.

Diet therapy

(1) Green bean porridge: Boil 5g of Tongcao in water to extract the juice, remove the residue, add 50g of green beans and 50g of wheat, cook into porridge, and eat for breakfast. It can relieve stranguria and promote urination.

(2) Red bean porridge: Add 30 grams of red beans to water and cook until done. Then add 15 grams of white rice to make porridge and eat it for breakfast. It can remove dampness and heat and promote urination.

(3) Take 50 grams of winter melon and boil it into three bowls of soup, divided and taken. It can clear away dampness and heat.
