What kind of plaster is used for balanitis?

The actual plasters used for balanitis depend on the patient's type. The actual ones are as follows:

1. Trichomonas vaginitis: It is a pathogenic bacteria. Patients with diabetes are more likely to get trichomoniasis vaginitis. After treatment with corticosteroids or a large number of antibiotics, it can also be primary. This type is generally caused by the spread of trichomoniasis vaginitis from direct relatives. Such patients can use soda solution to clean the sick area, or use imidazole creams, such as clotrimazole ointment or dacrylin ointment.

2. Subacute atrophic balanitis: This type of patient generally presents with symptoms such as exudation, swelling, erosion, or erythema and pain. Most of these patients are caused by non-infectious factors, such as irritation from condoms, emergency contraception, local trauma, cleaning fluids, etc. These patients can apply tetracycline ointment or erythromycin ointment.

3. Annular ruptured balanoposthitis: This type of patient will develop erythema which will gradually increase in size and become annular. Like patients with subacute atrophic balanoposthitis, tetracycline ointment or erythromycin ointment can be used.

4. Candidal balanoposthitis: Most of these patients are infected due to vaginal mycosis in their immediate family members. The main symptoms are blisters and erythematous papules. These patients can use lactic acid bacteria solution, acetic acid solution or potassium permanganate solution to clean the glans penis and the inside of the foreskin.
