Why is the left testicle higher than the right?

When it comes to the problem of the left testicle being higher than the right, some friends may find this topic embarrassing. In fact, these are normal physiological phenomena and there is no need to feel embarrassed. Male compatriots may wonder why the left testicle is higher than the right testicle. In fact, sometimes when walking, the testicles on both sides rub against each other, and the body produces a phenomenon of self-protection. It is not a so-called physical problem.

Under normal circumstances, one testicle will be larger than the other. However, the size difference between the two testicles is usually not that big. If the difference is big, it will be more troublesome!

First, small testicles may be caused by varicocele, orchitis, epididymitis, and early cryptorchidism, which can lead to testicular atrophy.

Enlarged testicles may be caused by hernia, testicular cyst, or inflammatory hyperplasia.

The first is endocrine abnormalities. If there are endocrine abnormalities, such as hypogonadism caused by hypogonadotropin, pituitary microadenoma, etc., it will affect the development of the gonads and cause this kind of testicular dysplasia.

The second situation is genetic factors, which are chromosomal abnormalities, such as Klinefelter syndrome, primary microtestis or spermatogenic tubule dysplasia.

The third is anatomical factors. In some individual cases, testicular maldevelopment is caused by impaired blood supply during the embryonic period or twisting of the spermatic cord during testicular descent. This is caused by anatomical factors.

The fourth is infection. The most serious one is viral orchitis caused by mumps in childhood, which can cause testicular development disorders. Paying attention to men's health should start from childhood, and don't let it develop into a serious disease, which is sometimes irreversible.

The fifth aspect is trauma or surgical injury. Some people suffer some damage to the testicles when they were children, during puberty, or after adulthood, or because of some surgeries, the damage to the testicles can also cause testicular dysplasia or atrophy, etc.

I have explained in detail why the left testicle is higher than the right one. Of course, what I have said above are some common phenomena, not all friends have this reason. If you have such a situation, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a check-up. After all, physical health is the most important thing.
