Health is what people are most concerned about. Eating well and wearing warm clothes seem to be the minimum requirements for modern people. People hope to be healthy and live a long life. There are more and more centenarians now, and even the retirement age is being extended. Due to busy life, many people's health is in crisis, especially men. Some men are troubled by male diseases, and some even have hematuria. Is only red urine considered hematuria? What causes this? Let's talk about it below. Hematuria refers to an abnormal increase in the excretion of red blood cells in the urine, and is a signal that the urinary system may have a serious disease. In centrifugal sediment urine, there are ≥3 red blood cells per high-power microscopic field of view, or more than 1 in non-centrifuged urine, or the red blood cell count in 1-hour urine exceeds 100,000, or the 12-hour urine sediment count exceeds 500,000, all of which show an abnormal increase in red blood cells in the urine, which is called hematuria. In mild cases, only red blood cells are found under the microscope, which is called submicroscopic hematuria; in severe cases, the appearance is like meat-washing water or contains blood clots, which is called gross hematuria. Usually, when there is 1mL of blood in each liter of urine, it is visible to the naked eye, and the urine is red or like meat-washing water. If hematuria is accompanied by long-term frequent urination, urgent urination, and painful urination, it is more likely to be renal tuberculosis. If hematuria is accompanied by swelling of the eyelids, face or body, increased blood pressure and fever, it may be acute nephritis. If hematuria is accompanied by severe frequent urination, urgent urination, and painful urination, it is mostly acute cystitis. If urination is not smooth and the urethra is not painful, but light red urine is seen with the naked eye or a small amount of red blood cells are seen under a microscope, it is mostly a symptom of prostatitis. Hematuria accompanied by low back pain Those who sometimes experience severe paroxysmal low back pain - renal colic, may have kidney or ureteral stones. Those over 40 years old with hematuria without obvious symptoms and pain may have urinary system tumors. Those with hematuria, low back pain and obvious relationship with body posture and daily activities, such as symptoms improved after bed rest and worsened after increased physical activity, are more likely to have kidney ptosis. If hematuria is accompanied by bleeding in other parts of the body, it may be caused by blood disease. Many male urinary system diseases may cause hematuria. Patients must not neglect it. If red blood cells appear in the urine during the physical examination, a reexamination must be conducted. Male diseases are very harmful. Not only will they cause pain to the patient, but they may also be transmitted to the partner if not paid attention to. If the patient is diagnosed with the disease, hematuria must not be performed. If necessary, the couple should be treated together. Timely examinations must be conducted and treatment should be carried out accordingly. |
