Male urine is red but not painful

Expect to see a yellowish color in the bowl. But what does it mean if you notice bright red? Blood in the urine is called gross hematuria, and it can indicate a health problem, such as a bladder infection or a more serious cancer. The color of the blood can range from a mild pink to brown to thick, dark clots.

1. Injury Any kind of trauma - for example, a severe blow to the kidney function - can cause urine. If the kidney function is broken or torn by force, blood may seep into the surrounding tissues and then pass into the urine.

2. Infection When the bacteria invade the urogenital system, such as bladder or prostate infection, the body's natural inflammatory mediators can cause bleeding.

3. Kidney stones These stones cause friction, and because they rub against the inside of the human body, many shoes cause blisters. The tender tissues of the body bleed more easily than the hard surface skin.

4. Cancer: Tumor cells in the bladder, kidneys, or urethra - the tube that carries urine from the body - can also disrupt healthy tissue, so they start bleeding. In addition, tumors grow quickly and require a large blood supply. These sprouting small blood vessels often rupture and leak blood.

5. Excessive exercise: Visible bleeding can also occur from strenuous exercise, especially jogging. Doctors and nurses do not know why, but they think it occurs because such activity causes mild damage to the bladder or causes the body to destroy blood cells.

Sometimes if you see bright red, it may not be blood at all. Some foods -- such as vegetables and fruits -- can change the color of urine.

So if you see anything that you think is blood, see a doctor. Exact blood in the urine is serious: 47% of patients in the Journal of Urology who had blood in their urine were diagnosed with a kidney or genitourinary health problem that required treatment—41% of whom had bladder cancer.

If there are other symptoms such as pain, fever or chills, and bleeding, then it means infection or kidney stones. But bleeding without pain will increase the red flag of cancer.

The fact that you see blood in your urine is more likely to indicate a more serious condition, because it shows up in the urine's external economy - just like in the human body, for example - and can also highlight a problem.

This is called microhematuria and is actually quite common: up to 18% of the population may have blood in their urine, without pain or other symptoms.

In most cases, this does not mean a big C: only 2% of patients with asymptomatic gross hematuria are diagnosed with urinary tract cancer.
