What are the treatments for acute orchitis?

Acute orchitis is a common disease among many people nowadays. Many people will choose to bear this disease silently. Few people can put aside their pride and go to a regular large hospital for detailed examination and treatment. But this is very incorrect. When encountering a disease, you should choose the appropriate method for treatment. So how should acute orchitis be treated? Today, the editor will introduce in detail some treatment methods for acute orchitis.

Acute testitis is caused by E. coli, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In fact, the most common cause of purulent acute epididymitis is infection caused by the spread of epididymitis, so it should actually be epididymal testitis. Patients often experience testicular pain that radiates to the groin, with a distinct feeling of falling, accompanied by high fever, nausea, vomiting, elevated white blood cells, etc. At the same time, the testicles are enlarged and tender, and the scrotal skin is red and swollen. If this is found, you need to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.

Diagnosis

1. Physical signs: Symptoms of mumps or other acute infectious diseases. One or both testicles are enlarged and painful. The boundary between the testicle and the epididymis is unclear. Sometimes acute hydrocele may occur.

2. Laboratory examination: increased white blood cell count, normal urine or occasional protein, or microscopic hematuria. Mumps has a certain degree of damage to kidney function, and special viruses can be detected in urine.

3. Based on clinical manifestations and signs, laboratory tests can make a clear diagnosis. However, it still needs to be distinguished from acute epididymitis clinically. In the early stage of acute orchitis, the inflamed epididymis can be palpated, but in the later stage, the boundary between the epididymis and the testicle is unclear. Urethral secretions and purulent urine are not systemic infectious diseases and can help with diagnosis.

Western medicine treatment

(1) General treatment: bed rest, local hot compress and scrotal elevation.

(2) Antibiotics are ineffective for viral orchitis and Chinese medicine should be used to treat it.

Well, after listening to the editor's introduction of some treatment methods for acute orchitis, I believe many people have memorized them. For acute orchitis, we should not blindly avoid it, but choose to face it with a positive attitude, put aside our pride when necessary, and find the right way to treat it. The editor believes that as long as we face it bravely, we can overcome it.
