What causes testicular pain in boys?

One symptom that boys in adolescence should take seriously is testicular pain. Testicular pain, as the name suggests, is testicular pain. It is a very common male reproductive infection disease that has a great impact on the health of male friends. In severe cases, it may even lead to male infertility. Therefore, once male friends experience testicular pain, they must find out the cause and treat it in time. So what is the reason for testicular pain in boys?

Testicular soreness is commonly seen in clinical cases of nonspecific orchitis and mumps orchitis, which is one of the common causes of male infertility. The specific introduction is as follows:

1. Chronic non-specific orchitis: Chronic orchitis is mostly caused by incomplete treatment of non-specific acute orchitis. It can also be caused by fungal, spirochetal, or parasitic infections, such as testicular syphilis. Granulomatous orchitis may occur in patients with previous testicular trauma. Local or whole-body radioactive isotope phosphorus irradiation of the testicles can also cause orchitis and damage the testicular tissue.

2. Acute non-specific orchitis: Acute non-specific orchitis often occurs in patients with urethritis, cystitis, prostatitis, prostatectomy and long-term indwelling catheters. The infection spreads to the epididymis through the lymph or vas deferens, causing epididymal orchitis. Common pathogens are bacillus, proteus, staphylococcus and pyocyanobacterium. Bacteria can spread to the testicles through the bloodstream, causing simple orchitis. However, the testicles have rich blood supply and strong resistance to infection, so this situation is relatively rare.

3. Acute mumps orchitis: Mumps is the most common cause of orchitis. About 20% of mumps patients have orchitis. It is more common in late adolescence. The testicles are highly enlarged and purple-blue in color.

In short, testicular pain is a disease that should not be ignored. From the above introduction, we should clearly understand the main causes of testicular pain in men, and we should also deeply understand that we should not take this disease lightly, but once the testicles hurt, we should immediately go to a professional hospital to see a doctor for diagnosis and treatment, otherwise it may cause irreparable consequences due to our own negligence.
