The department for testicular pain is the men's department, and this disease is a common disease in men's department. Testicular pain can be caused by orchitis or epididymitis. Too intense sexual intercourse or sports can cause testicular pain. Testicular injury and sprain can also cause this disease. Patients with testicular pain may have mild hidden pain, and severe ones may present with colic or blunt pain. Acute testicular pain is easier to treat, but chronic testicular pain can last for a long time without being cured. Orchitis and testicular injury are common factors that cause acute testicular pain. In orchitis, the testicles are enlarged and painful, and the patient has a high body temperature, fear of cold, vomiting, headache and lower abdominal pain. Testicular injury is generally caused by trauma. Vigorous exercise or sexual intercourse, violence can sometimes cause strong contraction of the levator testis muscle, causing the testicle to twist and cause severe pain. Chronic testicular pain may be caused by inflammation. The pain is mild and has radiating pain. It lasts for a long time and it is not easy to judge the exact location of the inflammation. Testicular pain is not necessarily proportional to the severity of the inflammation, but is related to the individual's nerve sensitivity. Chronic testicular pain may also be caused by varicocele or pain radiating from other parts of the body. At this time, appropriate examinations should be carried out to carefully identify the real cause so that appropriate treatment can be given. The symptoms of testicular pain caused by different reasons are also different. Patients with infection have more severe testicular pain. It may even feel like a knife cutting, and it will be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as severe chills. At this time, the scrotum is red and swollen, and the pain is more obvious when the testicles are touched. When suffering from tuberculosis infection, it is often accompanied by a history of tuberculosis in the urinary system or other parts of the body. It manifests as dull testicular pain, a feeling of bloating in the lower abdomen, and scrotal swelling. In severe cases, pus will flow out. When these lesions are touched by hand, there are uneven nodules, hard in texture, and often adhere to the scrotal skin. If the symptom of testicular pain is not treated actively, it can lead to testicular abscess or testicular infarction, and may eventually lead to testicular removal. If testicular pain is caused by spermatic cord thrombosis, the treatment prognosis is relatively poor, and it is more likely to cause male infertility. Up to 20% of patients with testicular pain may also be accompanied by sperm antibodies, and the possibility of infertility is very high. |
