Male azoospermia is one of the most common causes of infertility. Azoospermia is more serious than necrospermia. Men cannot expel sperm, so they cannot combine with eggs and complete the fertilization process, so they will not get pregnant. This is very similar to female follicle dysplasia, where women cannot produce eggs. So how should male azoospermia be treated? Azoospermia is divided into true azoospermia and false azoospermia. Some patients with true azoospermia have no conscious symptoms and normal sexual life. After years of infertility after marriage, they are found to have no sperm after examination or testicular biopsy. This disease cannot be cured and the woman must undergo artificial insemination to conceive. However, some patients cannot produce sperm due to long-term illness, fatigue, kidney deficiency, or varicose vas deferens. They have sperm but cannot be discharged. They can be treated with drugs with certain effects. Testicular tuberculosis and testicular atrophy are also difficult to cure. (1) Insufficient kidney essence: Symptoms include thin and small amount of semen, decreased or normal sexual desire, pale complexion, fatigue, dizziness, tinnitus, frequent urination, pale tongue and thin head, and deep and weak pulse. Treatment should be to nourish the kidney and replenish essence. The prescription is Sheng Sui Yu Dan (ginseng, Ophiopogon japonicus, meat paste, yam, cornus fruit, cooked rehmannia, mulberry, deer antler, wolfberry, turtle plate glue, dodder seed, angelica, placenta, fish prostitute). (2) Stagnation of sperm passage: Symptoms include abundant Qi and blood, young and strong body, normal testicle size and texture, lower abdominal distension and pain, or no sensation, or yellowish color like stranguria, dark tongue with yellow fur, and stringy and rapid pulse. Treatment is to clear away heat, resolve blood stasis and dredge the passages. The prescription is Tongluo Huoxue Tang with modifications (red peony root, angelica root, peach kernel, safflower, Sichuan cyathula, Vaccaria segetalis, Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, and Taraxacum mongolicum). Or external application can be used. If azoospermia is caused by drugs (such as Tripterygium wilfordii), it is possible to cure it if appropriate treatment is given after stopping the drug. The above article introduces some treatment methods for azoospermia. The conditioning methods of traditional Chinese medicine are relatively good. Azoospermia is mostly related to kidney deficiency, so in the process of traditional Chinese medicine treatment, it is also necessary to assist with food conditioning methods. Eat more foods that nourish the kidneys and replenish qi, such as lamb kidneys, kidney flowers, leeks, sea cucumbers, yellow eels, shrimps, turtles, etc. |
