Why do I wake up with wet underwear?

Why do I wake up with wet underwear?

If you wake up and find your underwear is wet, it is a normal phenomenon for adult men. If women are sexually stimulated during sleep, secretions will also be discharged from the lower body. This phenomenon is normal and there is no need to worry too much. Pay attention to eating a light and hygienic diet, drink more water, and don't watch pornographic TV, and you can relieve it.

Spermia can basically be said to be a physiological phenomenon. About 90% of normal adult males have experienced spermatorrhea. Spermia can be divided into nocturnal emission and spermatorrhea. It can occur from 1 to 2 years after puberty to old age. Nocturnal emission in dreams is also called nocturnal emission or nocturnal ejaculation. Some people call it "horse racing". Spontaneous ejaculation in a waking state without masturbation or sexual stimulation is called "spermatorrhea". There is not much difference between the two fundamentally.

During sleep or sexual stimulation, women have increased vaginal secretions and mucus discharge, but this is usually not noticed. However, it is different for men. Many men regard spermatorrhea as a disease and worry about it. So, how should we view spermatorrhea? Only by understanding the causes and mechanisms of spermatorrhea can we treat it correctly.

Spermia rarely occurs in boys under 12 years old. The incidence of spermatorrhea in boys aged 14 is about 25%. The incidence is higher in urban areas and in male teenagers with better family economic conditions. The incidence is about 55% at the age of 16, 70% at the age of 18, 75% to 80% at the age of 20, and at least 90% of men at the age of 45 have experienced spermatorrhea in some circumstances. The frequency of spermatorrhea is mostly once a week or once every few weeks. Someone has conducted a survey and found that the occurrence of spermatorrhea is proportional to the level of education. Someone has conducted a survey and found that 18% of single men with a junior high school education and 30% to 46% of single men with a college education have spermatorrhea once a month on average.

Nocturnal emissions can be the result of sexual dreams, or they can be the result of too warm bedding, too tight underwear, or clothing irritating the penis.

The classification of "dream-related loss without dreaming is called dream-related loss, and spermatorrhea without dreaming" in Chinese medical literature is the earliest way to distinguish dream-related loss from spermatorrhea. Sexual dreams before dream-related loss may be very vague, and some people cannot recall the main plot of the sexual dreams after dream-related loss. Or they may be very clear, and some people can clearly recall the events in their dreams when they wake up in the morning. In fact, sexual dreams are subconscious reactions, and are often related to fantasies and experiences.

Nowadays, for people with preliminary knowledge of sex, spermatorrhea is considered a physiological phenomenon and a part of human sexual behavior. In the past, both the feudal traditional cultural consciousness of my country and the feudal ethics of foreign countries regarded spermatorrhea as a "strange phenomenon". In the Babylonian era, people believed that it was the result of a visit from the "night woman" or "night angel". The "night woman" would visit men when they were asleep. In the Middle Ages, people believed that spermatorrhea was caused by the devil. In China, people overemphasized the preciousness of semen and always regarded spermatorrhea as a kind of pathology. The loss of semen would lead to kidney deficiency. Kidney qi was regarded as the root of the body's positive energy, and the adverse effects of spermatorrhea on the human body were overemphasized, which led to misunderstandings in people's treatment of spermatorrhea.

For teenagers, parents or school teachers have the responsibility to tell them that occasional spermatorrhea is a normal physiological phenomenon and there is no need to panic too much, let alone an immoral bad thing. Using foul language or avoiding talking about it will hurt their psychology and cause unnecessary psychological burden.
