Introduction to red bumps on scrotum

The genitals are our most important private parts. Although the genitals of men and women are different, they are both the most important reproductive physiological organs. For the human body, this is the place that needs to be protected. Especially the male genitals are very dangerous because they are exposed, so the risk of disease is increased. Red bumps on the scrotum are a common problem of male genitals. What should we do when facing this problem?

The pimples on the scrotum may be folliculitis, which is caused by purulent cocci invading the area around the hair follicle opening. It is an inflammation limited to the upper part of the hair follicle and is divided into purulent and non-purulent types. It is more common in people with low immunity or diabetes, and is prone to occur on the head and neck. Folliculitis starts as red, solid papules, which quickly develop into papular pustules, then dry and scab over, and the scabs fall off without leaving any traces. There are many rashes, but they do not merge, and they feel itchy or slightly painful. Folliculitis is prone to occur in the hairy parts of adults; in children, it is more likely to occur in the hair parts, and small patches of hair may be left after healing. Patients should avoid physical stimulation, and pay attention to eating less alcohol and sour, spicy and other irritating foods. Those with recurrent attacks should eat less greasy foods, eat more vegetables and fruits, increase vitamins, and keep bowel movements smooth. At the same time, pay attention to personal hygiene, strengthen physical exercise, and enhance disease resistance.

If the pores are all over the body, it is recommended to take ofloxacin capsules or cephalosporin capsules for systemic treatment. You can apply warm water to the local area to promote the suppuration, and after squeezing out the pus, apply erythromycin ointment locally. Disinfect with povidone iodine regularly to keep the wound clean.

The problem of red pimples on the scrotum requires treatment for men. Although pimples are a minor problem, it cannot be ruled out that they are some serious diseases, such as genital warts, etc. Therefore, when facing red pimples on the scrotum, male friends must take it seriously when they find this problem.
