Is circumcision necessary at the age of 30?

There are many people with long foreskins in daily life, and many of them will choose to undergo circumcision surgery. Nowadays, circumcision surgery is becoming more and more sophisticated, and the pain caused to patients is getting less and less. Moreover, the whole process of this operation is not so mysterious and not complicated. After the operation, as long as the patient takes good medical care, there will be almost no side effects. So is it necessary to have circumcision at the age of 30?

Phimosis means that the foreskin is too long and the opening is too narrow, which makes it impossible to turn the foreskin up to expose the glans penis. Phimosis can be divided into congenital prepuce and non-genetic prepuce according to the cause. Congenital prepuce is caused by physiological adhesion, while non-genetic prepuce is caused by balanitis and other reasons.

Because the foreskin is too long, it is impossible to turn it up, and it is impossible to expose the glans penis. Therefore, it is easy to cause symptoms such as dysuria, severe pain, urine scale, balanitis, and penile edema. Long-term foreskin may continue to cause more serious symptoms such as foreskin incarceration and glans penis necrosis. Not only does the foreskin affect the physical and mental health of the man, but when the man has sex with a woman, the man with the foreskin is easy to bring the bacteria in the foreskin into the woman's body, which is easy to cause the woman to suffer from gynecological diseases such as vaginitis, cervicitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. Therefore, no matter how old you are, if you have foreskin that is too long, you should see a doctor immediately for surgical treatment to prevent more serious conditions from occurring.

Prepuce is too long and can easily cause urination problems, severe pain, urine stains, balanitis, penile edema, etc.

For congenital prepuce, it can be restored by turning the foreskin upward. If conservative treatment fails, circumcision or other surgical treatments can be chosen for treatment. For acquired prepuce, it can only be treated by circumcision to avoid symptoms such as balanitis. After circumcision, attention should be paid to the medical care of the wound, which should be cleaned and disinfected every day to prevent infection, and sexual intercourse should be avoided for a short time to prevent cracking of the suture.
