19-year-old with prostatitis

The prostate is an important part of the male reproductive organ. If you have a disease like prostatitis at the age of 19, you should pay attention to it. There are many causes of this disease, such as holding back urine, sitting for a long time, eating a heavy taste, etc. It is not terrible to have prostatitis. As long as you receive timely treatment and care, you can recover quickly.

Prostatitis is very common among men in my country and is also a common disease in Europe and America. However, 19 years old is still a little young for the onset of the disease. Most cases occur between 30 and 50 years old. In recent years, the age of patients who have seen prostatitis has become younger, and even 15 or 16 years old have appeared. The main reasons for the younger age of prostatitis, especially among teenagers, are as follows:

1) Holding urine

When the pressure from studying is high, people like to hold their urine and control the frequency of going to the toilet. They will not go until they can no longer hold it. Holding urine for a long time will cause great pressure on the bladder, and urine will accumulate in the prostate, causing congestion of the prostate and high urine concentration. It will also cause urine to stay in the urethra, breeding more bacteria and inflammation.

2) Sitting for a long time

Once you sit down, you will be sitting for four or five hours. You will not go to the toilet until you feel uncomfortable holding your urine. Long-term sitting will slow down the metabolism of the lower body. Sitting for a long time will cause great pressure on the prostate. In addition, the lack of exercise will also cause the physical fitness to decline.

3) Diet

Young people generally have a stronger taste for spicy food, especially those who like spicy food. It is okay to eat spicy food occasionally, but eating spicy food every day can easily lead to cravings. Spicy food can stimulate the prostate and urethra, easily causing discomfort in the perineum, and causing congestion and edema in the prostate and bladder. Therefore, it is best to control the amount of spicy food and eat it with fruits and vegetables appropriately.

Can prostatitis be completely cured?

Prostatitis is curable. The key to treatment is that the plan should be reasonable, effective, scientific and regular.

How to treat prostatitis

Oral or injection of Western medicine antibiotics: The use of antibiotics has always been a controversial topic. Taking them for a short period of time can indeed have a certain effect. Prostatitis is a chronic disease. If antibiotics are taken for a long time, it will seriously affect the liver and kidney functions of the human body, and it will also make the human body resistant to drugs and affect the human endocrine system.

Surgery or puncture treatment:

1. Due to long-term inflammatory stimulation, the prostate gland is prone to adhesion with surrounding tissues, which makes it easy to bleed during surgery and difficult to remove cleanly. It is also easy to damage nearby tissues and organs during surgery and cause complications. Therefore, surgery for chronic prostatitis is more difficult.

2. To perform surgical treatment of the prostate requires certain equipment and technical capabilities. The most important thing is that surgery cannot solve all the problems of patients. Many patients still have clinical symptoms after surgical treatment.

3. Most patients with prostatitis can achieve relatively satisfactory results after active and effective non-surgical treatment.

4. Surgical treatment may bring more serious consequences to patients, such as partial or complete loss of sexual and reproductive functions.

Physical instrument treatment: Generally, it uses instruments to promote blood circulation, accelerate metabolism, and help eliminate edema, but it cannot completely cure the disease;

Massage and hot compress therapy: Prostate massage or hot compress therapy can promote blood circulation and relieve pain, but it cannot eliminate the disease and can only be used as an auxiliary method;

Treatment with Chinese medicine: Prostatitis is a chronic disease. Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating prostatitis. Chinese medicine has a slow effect, but it is easy to take for a long time, has few side effects, and can completely cure it.

The dangers of prostatitis

(1) Pain, affecting work and life. Due to the stimulation of inflammation, a series of symptoms are produced, such as swelling and pain in the lumbar sacral area, perineum, testicles, etc., urinary incontinence, frequent urination at night, etc., which make patients irritable and affect their work and life.

(2) Affecting sexual function, leading to impotence and premature ejaculation. Because the disease has not been cured for a long time, various symptoms and discomforts worsen after sexual intercourse, or directly affect the feeling and quality of sexual life, causing a kind of malignant stimulation to the patient, gradually developing a sense of disgust, leading to impotence, premature ejaculation and other phenomena.

(3) Affects fertility and can lead to infertility. Long-term chronic inflammation causes changes in the composition of prostatic fluid, affecting the secretory function of the prostate, which in turn affects the liquefaction time of semen and reduces sperm motility, which can lead to male infertility.

(4) Leading to chronic nephritis and even developing into uremia. If prostatitis is not treated in time, it can lead to prostate hyperplasia, which will compress the bladder outlet, making it impossible for urine to be completely emptied, resulting in residual urine. Residual urine is a good culture medium for bacterial reproduction. In addition, the defense mechanism of the bladder mucosa is damaged, so it is very easy to cause urinary tract infections such as pyelonephritis. If the treatment is not thorough at this time, pyelonephritis, hydronephrosis, etc. will develop into nephritis and finally develop into uremia.
