Therefore, males with bilateral cryptic testes are likely to suffer from azoospermia in adulthood, causing infertility. Even if it is only unilateral cryptic testis, the spermatogenic function of one side of the testis will be destroyed, resulting in the production of various anti-sperm antibodies, affecting fertility.
