Breast tumor, an obvious symptom that cannot be ignored!

Tumors are divided into benign and malignant. Malignant tumors are what people usually call cancer. Basically, there is no particularly good treatment method at present. Once it enters the late stage, there may be no chance of treatment. Therefore, we need to pay attention to some symptoms that appear in the body at ordinary times. So, what are the obvious symptoms of chest tumors?

【Clinical manifestations】

The local symptoms are chest pain, often on one side, which is persistent and dull early on. As the disease progresses, it becomes diffuse and difficult to bear and control. As the disease progresses, it manifests as progressive dyspnea, which is often caused by pleural effusion, pleural thickening, chest fixation, and restricted lung expansion.

In the early stage, there may be chest tightness, shortness of breath, chest pain, weight loss and cough, and a few may have hemoptysis. In the middle and late stages, there is often a large amount of pleural effusion. The pleural effusion is viscous, and effusion may reappear after puncture. Cachexia, respiratory failure, etc. may occur in the late stage. There may be supraclavicular lymph node, axillary lymph node metastasis and intrapulmonary metastasis. The tumor may also invade the pericardium and cause cardiac tamponade. A few cases are accompanied by peritoneal mesothelioma. With metastatic symptoms: Local infiltration metastasis often occurs, and distant blood circulation metastasis is rare. If the esophagus is invaded, there may be difficulty in swallowing; if the ribs and vertebrae are invaded, bone pain may occur; if the intercostal nerves, autonomic nerves, and brachial nerves are invaded, costopleural syndrome may occur. Systemic symptoms may include fatigue, fever, anorexia, anemia, osteoarthritis, etc. Some patients may also suffer from hypoglycemia.

【Nursing and prognosis】

l. The patient's main concern is pain, so we should pay attention to mental care to reduce the patient's mental burden, enable the patient to maintain a good mental state, cooperate with medical treatment, and build confidence in overcoming the disease.

2. Most patients with pleural tumors tend to lie on the affected side because of pleural effusion or pain on the affected side. While taking active pain relief measures and treating pleural effusion, patients should be helped to turn over frequently to prevent the affected side from being compressed for a long time and causing chest deformation.
