For men, it is actually very easy to suffer from male diseases. Especially if you do not pay attention to private hygiene, you will easily suffer from diseases such as glansitis. If the penis epidermis is red and itchy, it means that due to some bacteria or infection, the disease of glans dermatitis has occurred. Once the symptoms of glans dermatitis are found, everyone must go to the hospital for examination and treatment. The main cause of glans phimitis is phimosis or prepuce that is too long. In addition, unclean sexual intercourse, drug stimulation or allergy are also causes of the disease. Generally, when the infection occurs acutely, there is often moisture, redness, swelling, pain, itching, and even erosion and shallow ulcers in the local area, and there is yellow purulent or milky smelly secretion with a special odor. In severe cases, glans necrosis may occur. After an acute attack, the infection will cause the foreskin to adhere to the glans penis, the foreskin cannot be turned up, and even cause urethral stenosis. Some patients develop urethral adhesion and stenosis after the acute phase, causing difficulty in urination. Repeated infection can cause the glans penis or foreskin to thicken and form white spots. 1. Bacterial glans phimosis: Itching, burning or pain of the glans penis, local congestion and edema, severe surface erosion, exudation or bleeding, and even superficial ulcers. Microscopic examination and culture of pus can reveal pathogenic bacteria. 2. Candida balanoposthitis often occurs when the immune system is weakened and broad-spectrum antibiotics are used. The glans penis and foreskin are itchy and painful, with local congestion and edema, small blisters and erosions, and white patches and cheese-like substances on the surface. Candida albicans is found in the secretions by microscopic examination and culture. 3. The symptoms of trichomoniasis are similar to those of bacterial infection, and vaginal Trichomonas can be found in the secretions. 4. Long-term chronic inflammation can cause stenosis of the urethral opening and adhesion of the foreskin and glans. Identification 1. Penile cancer can also manifest as ulcers and erosions on the glans penis and the inner lining of the foreskin. However, in patients with penile cancer, the glans penis, the inner lining of the foreskin and the coronal sulcus have cauliflower-like changes in the nodules, and cancer cells can be seen in biopsy. 2. Penile tuberculosis can also manifest as chronic ulcers on the glans penis. However, patients often have a history of tuberculosis, and the ulcers are not cured for a long time. Mycobacterium tuberculosis can be found in smears and cultures of secretions. 3. Gonorrhea can also manifest as redness, swelling and pus in the urethral opening and foreskin. However, patients often have a history of unclean sexual intercourse, and examination of urethral pus can reveal Gram-negative diplococci. 4. Condyloma acuminatum can also present as redness and swelling of the glans penis and coronal sulcus. However, patients with condyloma acuminatum may have wart-like lumps on the glans penis and coronal sulcus, and wiping the lumps with 5% acetic acid will show that the lumps turn white. |
