Redness of the glans groove

Redness of the glans groove

Redness at the glans groove is generally related to inflammation. If the foreskin is too long, the air permeability of this area will become poor, and smegma will easily form, which will be subject to chronic irritation and eventually cause balanitis. If you do not pay attention to good treatment at this time, it is easy to be transmitted to women through sexual life, and it is also easy to cause some infection problems of your own, which is relatively harmful.

Redness of the glans groove

If the foreskin coronal sulcus is red and painful, it is inflammation. It may be caused by general bacteria or specific bacteria of sexually transmitted diseases. In this case, you should go to the urology department of the hospital for examination and treatment to prevent it from becoming a chronic disease.

How to treat glansitis

Experts suggest that you first clarify whether your balanitis is caused by bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma or chlamydia, find out the cause, and treat it accordingly. Use targeted medication under the guidance of a doctor to completely cure balanitis.

1. Etiology treatment

Those with clear etiology should be treated with corresponding drugs. For example, for candidal glansitis, topical nystatin cream, clotrimazole, econazole, miconazole cream, or oral antifungal drugs such as itraconazole, fluconazole, miconazole, and ketoconazole can be used. For trichomonal glansitis, metronidazole, tinidazole, and trichostatin can be used. For amebic glansitis, emetine, metronidazole, and tinidazole are given. If the spouse suffers from candidal vaginitis or trichomonal vaginitis at the same time, they must be treated at the same time.

2. Drug treatment

At present, some Chinese and Western medicines have good therapeutic effects on glans inflammation. However, it should be noted that this kind of medicine cannot be abused, and you must follow the doctor's instructions. Also, you should avoid going to those outpatient clinics to avoid improper use of medicines, causing infection, aggravating the condition of glans inflammation, and causing greater harm to men.

3. Local treatment

For those with erosive exudation or purulent secretions, apply wet compresses with 1% ethacridine solution or 1:8000 potassium permanganate solution. For those with dryness and desquamation, apply corticosteroid ointment externally.

4. Surgical treatment

For glans inflammation caused by excessive foreskin, a circumcision is required. Korean laser circumcision uses high-tech laser to accurately locate and remove excess foreskin. The laser is minimally invasive, with accurate positioning, short operation time, minimal bleeding, and can ensure the aesthetic effect of the surgery.
