Spermatic cord definition

Varicose veins are common in 10% of young men aged 15 to 30. 90% of cases occur on the left side due to blood accumulation in the varicose vein, which leads to dilation, twisting and elongation of the venous capillaries. Varicose veins can also be caused by kidney tumors. Varicose veins deserve high attention because they may be accompanied by testicular atrophy and sperm transformation obstruction, resulting in infertility.

Varicose veins are often enlarged, bent, or multiplied. They are common in young people, usually between the ages of 15 and 30. Varicose veins are usually found on the left side, accounting for about 78% to 93%, and on the right side, accounting for 1% to 7%. They also occur on both sides in about 2% to 20% of cases.

Type

1. Damp-heat type in the lower part of the body: The scrotum is red, the blue veins bulge out and look like worms, the seminal tract becomes larger, thicker and swollen, there is burning pain accompanied by sticky and uncomfortable stools, the tongue coating is thick and yellow, and the pulse is stringy and slippery.

2. Blood stasis and obstruction type: The Jingqu vein is twisted into a ball, the blue veins are prominent, the scrotum is painful, the pain is dull and does not subside for a long time, it gets worse when working, there are ecchymosis on the tongue, and the pulse is deep and thin.

3. Qi deficiency and sunken type: pain in the scrotum, aggravated by work and relieved by rest, fatigue, poor appetite, pale and fat tongue, and slow pulse.

4. Cold stagnation and prolapsed penis type: scrotal pain, testicular cramping, pain in the lower abdomen and perineum, aggravated by standing up and relieved by lying down, sore waist and knees, chills and cold limbs, pale tongue with white coating, and deep and thready pulse.

5. Liver Qi Stagnation Type: The patient has occasional pain in the scrotum, with blue veins sticking out like worms. Most patients have mood changes, dark red tongue with thin white fur, and deep pulse.

Cause

1. The left spermatic vein is long and enters the renal vein at an oblique angle, so the blood encounters a certain friction resistance. The left spermatic vein around the left renal vein has no heart valve, so the blood is very easy to flow backwards.

2. The left internal flexure vein is located behind the sigmoid colon and is easily compressed by intestinal excreta, affecting blood flow back.

Cause

1. The temperature is too high and the heat dissipation is poor.

2. Congenital insufficiency of left spermatic flexure vascular valve.

Congenital left spermatic flexure vascular valvular insufficiency can lead to blood stagnation in the left spermatic flexure vein.

3. Blood stasis damages male testicles.

4. Harm the interstitial cells of male testicles.
