Semen turns into a cute pink color? It's actually a disease!
Prostatitisxt-indent: 2em; text-align: left;">Generally speaking, the semen of healthy men is transparent, just like egg white. However, some men who have not had sex with their wives for a long time will find that their semen is a little yellow or even pink. Why is this?

Seminal vesiculitis

Seminal vesiculitis is often characterized by hematospermia, accompanied by decreased libido, premature ejaculation, mild perineal pain or bloating, ejaculation pain, frequent urination, and urinary pain. Male patients with seminal vesiculitis may experience fatigue, colds, and other symptoms of decreased resistance in the early stages, and may have an unclean sex life. Prostatitis is also accompanied by burning sensation during urination, urgency, dribbling after urination, or milky white mucus flowing out of the urethra after urination, unlocalized pain, and even sexual dysfunction such as premature ejaculation, spermatorrhea, and erectile dysfunction.

Tumor

Tumors of the seminal vesicle and prostate can also cause hematospermia, but generally speaking, cancerous hematospermia is characterized by persistence and gradual aggravation, which is different from transient hematospermia caused by inflammation. In addition, tuberculosis, schistosomiasis or systemic blood system diseases can occasionally cause hematospermia. When hematospermia occurs, the semen is red or light red, and a large number of red blood cells can be seen under a microscope. Some of them appear brown or soy-colored to the naked eye because there are a large number of red blood cells in the semen. Don't take it lightly and go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.

Other diseases

In addition, there are other rare diseases such as blood diseases (leukemia, thrombocytopenia, etc.), portal hypertension due to liver cirrhosis, etc., and the treatment of the primary disease is the main focus. If your husband's hematospermia continues, it is recommended that he go to a regular hospital for some specialist examinations, such as semen and prostate fluid examinations, and urogenital system B-ultrasound. If it is caused by the first factor, it will not have much impact on childbearing. If it is caused by the latter two factors, it is recommended to consider childbearing after the disease is completely under control.
