In daily life, many boys will find small papules on their glans. This situation will cause men to worry too much, and they don’t know what causes it. Because of face problems, they will avoid seeing a doctor and are embarrassed to go to the hospital for examination. If these small papules are ignored, it may affect their health and even infect their sexual partners. So, what are the reasons for small papules on the glans? 1. Fungal balanitis. Fungal balanitis is often contaminated through unclean sexual intercourse, so it is listed as one of the sexually transmitted diseases. It can also be transmitted through public baths, swimming pools, bath towels, clothing, medical equipment, dressings, etc. that are contaminated with Candida, or long-term and large-scale use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, leading to bacterial flora imbalance and infection (because it is a conditional pathogen). 2. Candidal balanitis. It is caused by Candida (a kind of fungus) and can be divided into primary and secondary. Secondary usually occurs in diabetes or after long-term use of antibiotics and corticosteroids. This disease can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, and the patient's spouse may have candidal vaginitis. The skin lesions are mainly erythema, with a smooth surface and mild desquamation on the edges. There are papules or papulorum around the erythema. Sometimes there is erosion, and white dot-like cheese-like secretions are attached to the surface. There is a peculiar smell and itching. Candida can be seen in the secretions through fungal microscopy and culture. 3. Fungal glansitis. Fungal glansitis is more common in young people between the ages of 20 and 50. Because of the vigorous secretion of sebaceous glands in young people, the vulva is moist, and wearing thicker underwear or insufficient cleaning of the vulva, it is very easy for fungi scattered in the air or parasitic here to take root and sprout, causing trouble and possibly passing it to the spouse. Many young and middle-aged women often wash their vaginas due to changes in their own physical constitution, or taking antibiotics and other drugs, or excessive cleanliness, causing changes in the acid-base environment in the vagina, and the parasitic bacteria that normally restrain each other are out of balance. The fungi (molds) parasitic here take advantage of the opportunity to enter, causing inflammation of the patient's vulva and vagina. After sex, it is very likely to be passed on to the spouse, causing fungal glansitis. 4. Trichomonas glansitis. In male patients with urethral trichomonas, there is a history of sexual intercourse with women with trichomonas. The symptoms of trichomonas glansitis are usually mild, or even asymptomatic. The main clinical manifestations of trichomonas glansitis are urethral itching and discomfort of varying degrees. It worsens during frequent urination. Severe cases of trichomonas glansitis may cause urethritis and cystitis. Prostatitis and orchitis may also cause ugly thick secretions and urination pains. Glansitis, glans papules, erythema, blisters and erosions may also occur. Trichomonas can be visualized by urethral swab Gram stain smear microscopy. This disease must be treated by both husband and wife, taking oral Miediling female Miediling suppositories. External acid solution washing. |
