Causes of right-sided hemiplegia in men

Causes of right-sided hemiplegia in men

Migraine is the most common type of primary headache in clinical medicine. The cause of migraine in male patients is not very clear. According to clinical epidemiological data survey reports, the occurrence of migraine is related to genetic factors, diet, endocrine and psychological factors.

About 2/3 of patients with migraines have a positive family history. The reasons why male patients have right-sided migraines are generally related to certain causes. For example, if male patients like to drink, substances such as pure grain wine, red wine, and wine are very likely to cause migraines. In addition, if patients have sleep disorders, excessive brain activity, or dietary matching, they are very likely to cause right-sided migraines. In terms of diet, for example, chocolate or drinks with ground coffee, or pickled foods, such as sauerkraut and radish pickles with a high content of sodium nitrite, are very likely to cause migraines in male patients.

If the right hemiplegia is manifested as pain in the back of the head, it may be a primary occipital neuralgia, which can also be seen in lesions of the posterior cranial fossa and cervical spondylosis. The exact cause of occipital neuralgia is still unknown. It is manifested as paroxysmal pain, which generally lasts from a few seconds to 1-2 minutes. It is mainly treated with medication. If it is considered a lesion of the posterior cranial fossa, the patient may also experience nausea and vomiting, and may also have visual impairment. Some patients may also have sensory disorders, motor function problems, and dizziness. If necessary, a cranial MRI should be performed to confirm the diagnosis.

If it is considered to be caused by cervical spondylosis, the patient may also experience pain and discomfort in the neck and shoulder muscles. If necessary, a cervical spine MRI may be performed to confirm the diagnosis. If the specific manifestation is pain in the facial position, it may be primary trigeminal neuralgia or temporal neuralgia, brain tumor or cerebrovascular disease. For example, patients may also suffer from cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction.
