Glanitis requires the following levels of treatment: if there is erosive exudation or purulent secretion, a 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution can be applied to the face; if it is dry and flaky, a hormonal cream can be applied externally; patients with trichomonas infection can use sodium bicarbonate solution to clean acne and apply antifungal cream externally; patients with trichomonas infection can use 0.5% lactic acid solution or acetic acid solution for cleaning, and then add anti-inflammatory treatment; Chinese herbal medicines that do not contain fluoride and hormonal ointments can be given intermittently, which has a good effect on plasmacytotic glansitis. If the inflammation is severe, targeted medication can be used based on the pathogen and drug sensitivity. For the treatment of subacute atrophic balanoposthitis and annular erosive balanoposthitis, antibiotics sensitive to Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria can be used; for the treatment of candidal balanoposthitis, ornidazole is used first; for the treatment of balanoposthitis caused by Candida albicans, fluconazole tablets or itraconazole are commonly used; if the foreskin is long or too long, causing recurrent balanoposthitis, circumcision surgery should be performed after the inflammation subsides, which has a practical effect on eradicating balanoposthitis. The key symptoms of glansitis are as follows: 1. Candidal glansitis: papules and erythema appear on the glans penis, which gradually expand and have clear edges. Small blisters the size of a needle tube can be seen on the erythema, and eventually an erosive surface is produced. 2. Annular ruptured glans: In the early stage, the glans will itch. In the middle and late stages, erythema can be seen on the glans penis and the foreskin, which will gradually expand and become ring-shaped, and may produce an atrophic ulcer surface. 3. Fungal glansitis: Red spots can be seen on the foreskin and the glans penis. The surface is smooth and there are small blisters. The edges of the hard erythema are clear. In subacute onset, there are erosions, exudate, and a strong odor. 4. Subacute atrophic glansitis: At the beginning, the part is red, the skin of the male genitals is red and swollen, and the active glans penis feels hot and itchy. When the foreskin is opened, it can be seen that the foreskin is too long and the glans penis is congested and eroded, with exudate and even bleeding. After secondary infection, small ulcers and milky white purulent secretions with a foul odor can be seen. If it rubs against underwear, it will be painful, and the patient often has trouble with activities. It may be accompanied by swelling and tenderness of the inguinal lymph nodes. |
