Symptoms of testicular dysplasia

Symptoms of testicular dysplasia

We all know that testicles are important male organs for men, because testicles are the place where male sperm is nurtured, and the normal development of testicles can also improve male sexual function. However, some boys suffer from testicular dysplasia when they are young due to lack of nutrition or other reasons, and their testicles are relatively small. So what are the symptoms of testicular dysplasia?

Symptoms of testicular dysplasia include:

1. Congenital testicular dysplasia. Congenital microtestis or testicular atrophy generally manifests itself in a relatively small testicle size and inability to produce normal sperm, thus leading to infertility.

2. Testicular pseudohermaphroditism. This is mainly manifested in the secondary sexual characteristics of men, with complete or incomplete secondary sexual characteristics of women. Testosterone metabolism disorders, 5a-reductase, and maternal use of androgen-containing drugs during pregnancy may all lead to this.

3. Anoorchia. Anoorchia is a rare symptom of testicular dysplasia. It mainly includes the absence of testicles, the absence of testicles, epididymis and vas deferens, etc.

4. Cryptorchidism. This is mainly caused by the testicles staying in the surrounding areas during the descent process during the fetal period, such as the abdomen, waist, inguinal canal or near the external ring. I hope the above answer can help you.

The treatment of microtestis should be treated according to different situations. For example, if the testicles are different in size due to varicocele, the problem can be solved by performing varicocele surgery. However, for microtestis caused by congenital factors, such as the treatment of Klinefelter syndrome, 50 mg of testosterone propionate can be injected intramuscularly twice a week, or 5 mg of methyltestosterone can be taken three times a day, which can promote the development of male secondary sexual characteristics, promote sexual desire, and maintain normal sexual function.

Among male infertility, patients with microtestis account for 20%! When walking on the street, specialist doctors can spot patients with microtestis at a glance. They are often white-faced, beardless, without Adam's apple, smooth and tender skin, with more subcutaneous fat, wider hips than ordinary men, and some even have slightly protruding breasts. Many people who are infertile after marriage go to the hospital for examination and find that their testicles are very small, with semen but no sperm.
