Tumors can occur in many parts of the body. Men's penises can also develop tumors, and most of them are malignant tumors, which need to be taken seriously. So, what is the cause of a tumor on the glans penis? Let's take a look below. Male genital tumors are common diseases in China. Penile cancer usually occurs in men over 30 years old. In the early stage, the main symptoms are papules, warts or ulcers on the foreskin or glans penis, which gradually expand and are generally painless. Penile cancer with a long history of disease mainly presents as a typical cauliflower pattern, with most of the male genitals destroyed by the tumor. Patients generally do not have difficulty urinating, but the urine flow is blocked by the tumor and is transmitted. When there is a high incidence of infection, there is local pain or painful urination, and there is a foul odor. Repeated bleeding from the tumor can cause the patient to become emaciated, anemic and decadent. In the late stage, metastasis of inguinal cancer causes the lymph nodes to enlarge and harden, and even become immobile or ulcerated and easy to bleed. Common cancer metastasis can cause swelling of the legs and feet. Squamous cancer Brief Description Male genital squamous cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor that originates from the squamous epithelium of the male genitals. It is common in men aged 40 to 70. The onset of the disease is related to HPV. Circumcision can maintain the environmental hygiene of the genitals, reduce urine stains containing HPV and other carcinogens, reduce the probability of HPV infection, and effectively prevent the occurrence of penile cancer. Clinical manifestations Male genital squamous carcinoma usually occurs in the glans penis or the area near the coronal sulcus in the prepuce. It is papillary or flat in human view: papillary type is similar to condyloma acuminatum or cauliflower-like in appearance; the flat type has a grayish white surface of the mucosa, which becomes thicker, and cracks can be seen on the surface, and ulcers may gradually appear. Under the microscope, squamous carcinomas of varying degrees of differentiation are generally well-divided and have significant keratinization. Verrucous carcinoma is a well-differentiated squamous carcinoma that occurs in the vulvar mucosa of men or women. It is a mild malignancy. The tumor grows from the outside to the inside in a papillary manner, and only partially pushes downward in a tongue-like manner, and rarely metastasizes. It is famous for its similarity to genital warts in both gross and microscopic appearance, and its wart-like appearance. Clinical Pathology Contact Male genital squamous cell carcinoma progresses slowly and can partially metastasize unless there is ulceration or infection. It is generally painless and often accompanied by bleeding. The early tumor can metastasize to the inguinal and iliac lymph nodes, but it is common and rare unless it is in the late stage. The five-year survival rate reaches 70%. |
