Four types of glansitis pictures

The four types of glansitis mainly include acute superficial glansitis, annular effusive glansitis, candidal glansitis, and trichomonal glansitis. These are the four more common types of glansitis.

1. Superficial galactitis: During the onset of superficial galactitis, obvious edema and erythema may occur in the glans, accompanied by erosion and bleeding. If not treated promptly and appropriately, it may cause blisters and purulent exudates, which may be related to the infection of the sexual partner.

2. Annular erosive glansitis: It is very likely that the individual has not done a good job of personal hygiene on a daily basis. The smegma will be irritated for a long time, which will cause certain damage to the mucous membrane of the glans, causing obvious erythema on the glans and red erosion in the middle. Secondary infection will lead to worsening of the disease.

3. Candida glansitis: It is mainly caused by infection with Candida albicans. In the acute phase, it may cause edematous erythema, erosion and exudation. In severe cases, it may also affect the scrotum and penis. It is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse.

4. Trichomonas glansitis: Trichomonas glansitis may cause obvious local itching during the onset of the disease. The itching symptoms will become more severe during urination, forming a mild erosive surface.
