Why does my scrotum itch at night?

Why does my scrotum itch at night?

We all know that scrotal itching may be eczema, which is generally caused by allergies. There are many causes, which may be related to the diet and environment, and also to one's own physical constitution. If local skin rash and desquamation occur, and recurring, pay attention to avoid spicy and stimulating food in life, avoid eating allergenic items such as alcohol, seafood and shellfish, and eat a light diet; try to reduce adverse external stimuli, such as scratching with hands, external soap, hot water washing, etc.; clothing should be loose, light and soft, and avoid wearing wool products or nylon fabrics. Then let's take a look at this situation below!

1. Scrotal itching is a very common symptom, especially in young men. Generally speaking, there may be the following reasons:

(1) It is more common in people who do manual labor, especially in the summer, when the genitals are hot, sweaty, damp, and poorly ventilated. The scrotal skin is stained by sweat and rubbed by underwear, causing itching. Wearing tight jeans or non-absorbent, non-breathable nylon underwear can also cause this condition.

(2) Riboflavin (vitamin B2) deficiency can lead to scrotitis. The scrotum will show changes such as erythema, dryness, scaling, papules and scabs, accompanied by itching. At the same time, angular cheilitis, glossitis and oral ulcers may also occur.

(3) Scrotal inflammation caused by fungi, such as candidal scrotal inflammation and tinea cruris involving the scrotum, can cause scrotal itching.

(4) Neurodermatitis and eczema in the scrotum may cause itching.

The causes of eczema are complex and are often the result of the interaction of internal and external factors. Internal factors such as chronic digestive system diseases, mental stress, insomnia, excessive fatigue, emotional changes, endocrine disorders, infections, metabolic disorders, etc., and external factors such as living environment, climate change, food, etc. can all affect the occurrence of eczema. If the itching is unbearable, use the red cover of the pine pine to stop itching quickly! Apply it regularly and the eczema will be gone in a month. External stimuli such as sunlight, cold, dryness, heat, hot water washing, and various animal furs, plants, cosmetics, soaps, artificial fibers, etc. can all induce it. It is a delayed allergic reaction caused by complex internal and external factors. The causes of eczema are complex, and even after treatment, it is easy to relapse and difficult to cure. Because the clinical morphology and location of eczema are different, the medication varies from person to person.

2. Main symptoms:

(1) Itching: Patients often discover this disease due to scrotal itching. As the disease progresses, the itching becomes more severe and cannot be relieved by scratching. In severe cases, it can affect work and life.

(2) Small papules, herpes or small blisters: Initially, it is edematous erythema, and then densely distributed millet-sized papules, papules or small blisters appear in the scrotum, with a flushed base.

(3) Exudate and erosion surface: Due to itching and scratching, papules, papules or small blisters are scratched, and serous fluid oozes out continuously, often soaking the underwear. Later, erosion, exudate and scabs appear. The center of the rash merges into a piece, and there are small papules with unclear boundaries scattered around, distributed in a satellite shape.

3. Associated symptoms: The course of the disease is uncertain, it is easy to relapse, and it does not heal for a long time. Changes similar to skin swelling can be seen in the scrotum. Differential diagnosis:

(1) Scrotal neurodermatitis: Continuous flat papules can be seen, and in severe cases, they can cover the entire scrotum. Although there is itching, there is no exudate. Over time, the skin becomes thicker, like cold striae.

(2) Riboflavin deficiency scrotal itching: The course of the disease is short, there is no obvious skin hypertrophy, and it is often accompanied by glossitis. It can be cured in a short period of time by taking riboflavin orally.

4. Self-protection

1. Dietary taboos: Eat more vegetables and fruits, avoid spicy, fishy and other irritating foods, abstain from alcohol, and do not eat or eat less chicken, duck, beef and mutton.

2 Use loose cotton underwear, not too tight.

3 Do not scratch it at will, wash it with soap and hot water.

4 Mental distress can easily make the condition worse and the affected area difficult to heal, so you need to control your emotions.

5. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment:
