Chronic nephritis is a relatively common kidney disease, which is very harmful to patients. If timely treatment and conditioning are not taken, it may even aggravate renal dysfunction and cause renal failure. When patients suffer from chronic nephritis, they often have more obvious symptoms, such as swelling of the body, renal hypertension, decreased urine volume, abundant urine foam, etc. First, body swelling The main sites of occurrence are the face, eyelids, and limbs. This is the most obvious early symptom of nephritis, and body swelling will continue to occur throughout the treatment of kidney disease. The swelling of different patients may be mild or severe. The former only finds obvious swelling in the cheeks and eyes in the morning, and also in the ankles during lunch break. The latter is more serious, and may cause swelling all over the body. When this phenomenon occurs, do not delay and go to the hospital immediately for targeted diagnosis to confirm the condition as soon as possible. Second, symptoms of hypertension When the kidneys become diseased and cannot excrete the waste products they produce, they will then produce substances that increase blood pressure. Clinically, 90% of kidney disease patients will have high blood pressure. Increased blood pressure will have a great impact on the kidneys. The higher the blood pressure, the greater the harm to kidney disease. Generally, blood pressure is moderately elevated, ranging from about 180-150 to 120-90 mmHg. This is something that our patients with kidney inflammation need to be especially careful about. Generally, there is no direct causal relationship between nephritis and high blood pressure, and the two diseases do not affect each other. However, once the nephritis patient's condition worsens into renal failure or uremia, hypertension will follow and become uncontrollable. Third, urine volume decreased significantly This point should be taken seriously! Generally, acute nephritis will cause a significant decrease in urine volume and a darker and deeper color of urine (may be accompanied by edema), and a small number of patients will experience anuria! Another more serious situation is that some patients with nephritis will have hematuria (blood in the urine, the urine is dark brown), and this serious symptom will last for several days or even weeks. Fourth, foam appears in the urine This is the most easily overlooked problem for many nephritis patients, and they do not pay special attention to it. The increase of foam in urine indicates that the urine protein has increased, and the human body is losing a lot of protein. The reason for the loss of protein is that the kidney function is damaged and cannot be washed well. When the kidney and urinary catheter have obstructions, a large amount of protein will leak out and become proteinuria. 5. History of Streptococcal Infection For example, routine urine follow-up examinations 7-20 weeks after recovery from diseases such as influenza, acute pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, gingival abscess, scarlet fever, chickenpox, measles, and skin abscesses can detect early signs of nephritis. We may ignore this to a great extent, so we need to pay more attention to it. |
