Mycoplasma testing methods for men, do you understand these measures?

If microorganisms such as mycoplasma multiply in the body for a long time, it will be very harmful to human health, so it is necessary to check it in advance and solve it in time after discovery. Now hospitals have special methods to check mycoplasma. The following will tell you what the scientific inspection method is.

1. How to test for ureaplasma urealyticum in men?

This is now done in many large hospitals. The following are the examination methods:

1. Take male urethral secretions and culture them for drug sensitivity. (Currently the most commonly used method).

2: Go to the male urethral secretion for PCR (that is, to check the number of mycoplasmas) I hope the answer helps! If you have any questions, please feel free to consult and we will seriously help you solve your doubts.

2. How do men check for mycoplasma?

Mycoplasma Detection Methods

1. Specimen collection

When collecting samples from male patients, the swab should be inserted 2 to 4 cm into the urethra and rotated vigorously to obtain cells. When collecting specimens, contact with antibacterial agents, analgesics or lubricants should be avoided.

2. Common methods for mycoplasma detection

◆PCR technology for detecting human mycoplasma: It has considerable diagnostic value, but it is difficult to obtain quantitative results and cannot evaluate antibiotic sensitivity and other biological characteristics.

◆Serological tests for mycoplasma antibodies: lack of sensitivity and specificity.

◆Indirect immunofluorescence test: It is used to detect Mycoplasma genitalium antibodies and has the advantages of being rapid, reproducible, sensitive and specific.

3. Mycoplasma examination for men

1. Blood routine

Peripheral white blood cell counts are generally normal, with eosinophilia.

2. X-ray examination

The chest X-ray of Chlamydia pneumonia is non-specific, mostly showing unilateral lower lobe infiltration, manifesting as segmental pneumonia, and severe cases presenting as extensive bilateral pneumonia. The chest X-ray of Chlamydia trachomatis pneumonia shows extensive bilateral interstitial and alveolar infiltration, overinflation signs are common, and occasionally large lobe consolidation is seen.

3. Direct smear microscopy

Take pharyngeal secretions, sputum, respiratory membranes or other parts of the specimens for smears and stain with GZmesa. The protosomes are stained red and the protosomes are stained dark blue. The inclusion bodies of Chlamydia trachomatis contain glycogen. They are stained brown with 801 staining.

4. Rapid antigen test

Monoclonal antibody direct immunofluorescence is often used to detect Chlamydia in samples. The 2I-IsA method can also be used to add anti-Chlamydia antibodies, enzyme-labeled antibody 18G and substrate for colorimetric quantitative detection. These two methods are simple and sensitive.

5. Separation of the original body

It is best to use Hela cells or Hep-2 cells for the culture of Chlamydia pneumoniae. Generally, tracheal or nasopharyngeal aspirates are taken as clinical specimens and vaccinated in time. Chlamydia identification is usually carried out by culturing Hela cells or Hep-2 cells and then using specific monoclonal fluorescent antibody method (MFA). This technology has high sensitivity and strong specificity. If the specimen can be collected early, a positive result can be obtained within 48 hours.
