What causes testicular skin pain?

There are many reasons why men experience testicular pain. The most common ones are orchitis and gonorrhea. Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease. Chronic prostatitis can also cause testicular pain. Relevant examinations should be done in time, such as B-ultrasound examination or blood test.

1. Causes of testicular skin pain

1. Orchitis

2. Gonorrhea: Gonorrhea is the most common sexually transmitted disease. In severe cases, it can cause orchitis, testicular pain and swelling.

3. Mumps: May be complicated by orchitis, with testicular pain and swelling;

4. Chronic prostatitis:

It can also cause testicular pain, which manifests as unilateral pain, mostly dull pain or pulling pain, which is persistent. Microscopic examination of prostatic fluid can reveal a large number of white blood cells. Most patients are young and it is rare in the elderly.

5. Testicular damage:

It can also lead to acute orchitis. The testicles are more mobile in the scrotum and are protected by a tough white membrane, so the chance of closure injury is smaller. Testicular injuries are mostly related to violence, car accidents, etc.

2. Tests to be done for testicular pain

1. Testicular self-examination. It is best to do the examination after taking a hot shower. At this time, the scrotum is relaxed. If you can feel something like a lump through self-examination, male friends should be alert. This is likely to be a testicular disease.

2. The doctor carefully examined

Analysis of bilateral scrotal masses can distinguish between benign and malignant lesions. When a testicular tumor is suspected, a local puncture biopsy of the testicular tumor should not be performed, mainly because it can easily lead to tumor metastasis.

3. B-ultrasound examination: This examination can accurately measure the size and shape of the testicles, and also understand whether there is a tumor in the male testicles.

The examination can help us understand the specific conditions of human chorionic gonadotropin and alpha-fetoprotein. If the test results exceed the normal value, further examination should be carried out.
