2. Secondary syphilis. Secondary syphilis is the development trend of primary syphilis, which usually occurs within 6 to 8 weeks after the appearance of chancre. Secondary syphilis is mainly characterized by skin and mucous membrane damage. The skin lesions of secondary syphilis are of various shapes, and the most common ones are desquamative lesions, macules and rashes. The mucosal damage of secondary syphilis is more common in the genital mucosa, oral cavity and throat, and the mucosa is swollen and eroded.
