What causes testicular pain?

Testicular pain is a common symptom among male friends. Usually, it may get better after a few days, but in severe cases, the discomfort will continue and may even be accompanied by other abnormal reactions. The causes of this condition are also relatively complex. Next, the editor will analyze them in detail one by one. You can deepen your understanding through the following content.

1. Chronic prostatitis: The symptoms of chronic prostatitis are complex and varied, and are sometimes easily confused with simple neurasthenia. From the clinical manifestations, patients may have urethral irritation signs, frequent urination, urgency, urethral burning pain, mucus, sticky or purulent secretions in the urethra in the early morning, turbid urine or white liquid out of the urethra after defecation, discomfort in the posterior urethra, perineum and anus, sometimes pain in the penis, testicles and groin, sometimes unilateral testicular pain, or bilateral pain, accompanied by ejaculation pain, hematospermia, premature ejaculation, impotence, as well as symptoms of autonomic nervous system dysfunction such as fatigue, dizziness, insomnia and depression.

2. Epididymitis: The affected side of the scrotum is swollen and painful, with a feeling of heaviness, and there is pulling pain in the lower abdomen and groin, which is aggravated when standing or walking. The affected side of the epididymis is enlarged and has obvious tenderness. When the inflammation is large, both the epididymis and testicles are swollen, and the boundary between the two is unclear, which is called epididymo-orchitis. The spermatic cord on the affected side is thickened and also tender.

3. Orchitis: Patients often experience testicular pain that radiates to the groin, with a distinct feeling of falling, accompanied by a series of discomforts such as high fever, nausea, vomiting, and elevated white blood cells. At the same time, the testicles are enlarged and tender, and the scrotal skin is red and swollen. If this is found, you need to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.

The typical symptoms of these diseases are all testicular pain. Based on this, the editor would like to strongly advise all male friends that once similar discomfort occurs, they should take it seriously. It is best to check the health of the reproductive system, so that if any disease occurs, symptomatic treatment can be carried out as soon as possible.
