Chronic gastritis focuses on diet. What foods are good for the stomach?

Now we have entered autumn, and the temperature in many areas has dropped to a certain extent, especially in the northern region, where the temperature has dropped significantly, and people may even feel a little cold when going out. In such weather, people's chronic gastritis is prone to recurring. So, what kind of food should patients with chronic gastritis eat to nourish their stomach?

1. Staple food:

There are mainly rice, steamed bread, noodles, bread, buns, dumplings, wontons, porridge and other varieties. Since each patient has different conditions and eating habits, the choice of staple food will also be different. But in general, fermented food is easier to digest than unfermented food; stuffed food is often not easy to cook thoroughly and the stuffing is too greasy and rough, making it difficult to digest; porridge is the most recommended food for nourishing and protecting the stomach. Eating porridge can be used as an auxiliary treatment for stomach problems.

2. Meat:

You can choose fresh, lean and tender pork, chicken breast, duck, fish fillet, etc., and eat them after fine processing and cooking; do not eat greasy, stale meat. People usually think that beef, mutton, and dog meat are tonic foods, and eating more can strengthen the body, but beef with coarse muscle fibers is not easy to digest; mutton and dog meat are sweet and hot in nature, and are yang-tonifying products. Most gastritis patients are diagnosed with stagnation of heat and yin damage and damp heat in the body. Eating them will only help fire damage yin, which is not conducive to the condition, so it is better not to eat them.

3. Eggs:

The beneficial effects of eggs are well known, but you should not eat too many eggs a day. 1-2 eggs are appropriate. Patients with stomach problems should choose the soft egg custard form that is most easily digestible and absorbable to cook and eat.

4. Milk:

Stomach patients who like to drink milk but do not have lactose intolerance symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain or diarrhea can drink a moderate amount of milk, preferably 250 grams per day. However, patients with atrophic gastritis with low stomach acid are advised not to drink or drink less milk, because milk has always been believed to neutralize stomach acid, but it is consumed in large quantities when treating ulcer disease with excessive stomach acid.
