Therefore, even if prostate cancer patients have bone metastasis, it is still safer to choose drug treatment. 2. Bone metastasis of prostate cancer can occur in any bone. Common bone metastasis sites include pelvis, lumbar spine, sacrum, thoracic spine, ribs, etc. Generally speaking, the worse the cancer differentiation, the higher the probability of bone metastasis. Bone metastasis of prostate cancer mostly manifests as bony changes, and some patients may also have osteolytic or mixed changes. Active measures should be taken for reasonable treatment to prevent the disease from worsening.

3. If bone metastasis occurs in patients with prostate cancer, persistent bone pain may occur, especially when the patient lies still. The pain is particularly obvious. In severe cases, pathological fractures or paralysis may occur. Prostate cancer may also metastasize to the liver, which may cause symptoms such as liver enlargement, dyspnea, and hemoptysis. In the late stage of prostate cancer with bone metastasis, the general condition of patients may deteriorate, and symptoms such as loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, anemia, etc. may occur, and some may even develop cachexia.
