What are the symptoms of low blood pressure? They can be identified based on their nature.

In daily life, if people's blood pressure suddenly drops, they will also have corresponding symptoms. So, what are the symptoms of low blood pressure?

According to the cause, it can be divided into physiological and pathological hypotension.

(1) People with physiological hypotension have no conscious symptoms except that their arterial blood pressure is lower than the above value. After long-term follow-up, there are no abnormalities such as ischemia and hypoxia in the organs of the human body, and it does not affect life expectancy. Physiological hypotension is common in young women, especially those with thin bodies, and it is also not uncommon for people who often engage in high-intensity exercise and heavy physical labor. The occurrence of hypotension is often related to high vagus nerve tension.

(2) Pathological hypotension (hypotension) is characterized by lower-than-normal arterial blood pressure and is often accompanied by symptoms such as general fatigue, dizziness, easy fatigue, sweating, and palpitations. The above symptoms become more obvious when standing for a long time or when moving from a lying position (or sitting or squatting position) to a standing position, and may even cause fainting.

According to the onset, it can be divided into acute and chronic hypotension.

(1) Acute hypotension is a sudden and significant drop in blood pressure from normal or elevated levels. It is common in people with weak constitutions and is mainly manifested by two major clinical syndromes: syncope and shock.

(2) Chronic hypotension may have a genetic tendency, or it may be secondary to certain neurological diseases, cardiovascular diseases, chronic malnutrition, endocrine dysfunction, the recovery period of infectious diseases, and when using certain antihypertensive drugs. It is often accompanied by corresponding discomfort and abnormal examination results.
