What causes nipple pain? Four factors should not be ignored

Generally speaking, no matter whether it is a man or a woman, if there are symptoms of swelling and pain in the nipple area, it should not be ignored. So, what is the cause of swelling and pain in men's nipples?

(1) Breast pain due to mammary hyperplasia:

Breast pain is the first symptom of breast hyperplasia patients. Breast hyperplasia is often accompanied by breast lumps, nipple discharge, emotional changes, etc.

(2) Breast pain due to mastitis:

Breast pain is one of the typical symptoms of mastitis. Acute mastitis and acute suppurative mastitis have different symptoms, but both will cause breast pain, high local skin temperature, tenderness, unclear boundary hardness, and tenderness.

(3) Breast pain due to breast cysts:

Breast pain is not a common symptom of breast cysts, but breast cysts with inflammation may cause swelling or tenderness.

(4) Breast pain caused by mammary fibroma:

Breast fibroma is an abnormal proliferation of fibrous tissue, a single or multiple hard lumps, generally not accompanied by pain. In a small number of cases, breast fibroadenoma is accompanied by breast hyperplasia, in which case symptoms such as breast swelling and discomfort may occur.
