Symptoms of cold:

Colds are caused by wind and cold, and they occur more often in autumn and winter. The symptoms include body aches, nasal congestion, runny nose, and cough with phlegm. Treatment can be done with both Western and Chinese medicines, and diet therapy can also be used. Preventive measures include keeping warm, strengthening physical exercise, and improving immunity.

Wind-cold cold is caused by the invasion of wind-cold evil and the failure of lung qi to flow. Symptoms include: severe chills, mild fever, no sweating, headache and body pain, nasal congestion and runny nose, coughing and spitting thin white sputum, no thirst or thirsty and liking hot drinks, and thin white fur.

The main symptoms are heavy nasal congestion, sneezing, clear runny nose, cough, thin white sputum, headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, etc. There is obvious fear of cold, no sweating and a feeling of soreness and discomfort all over the body. Generally, there is no fever, and even if there is a fever, it is relatively mild.

Diet therapy for colds:

Ginger drink: 30 grams of ginger and 30 grams of brown sugar, decoct the soup and take it in 3 times.

Cabbage root and ginger drink: 1 cabbage root, 1 radish root, cut into thick slices, 3 slices of ginger, 50 grams of brown sugar, add appropriate amount of water, boil for 3 to 5 minutes, and drink hot.
