Bleeding, dizziness, and sagging internal organs are all related to the spleen.
Blood stasis Many times, your internal organs may have problems, perhaps just one organ. Only by finding the root of the problem and taking the right medicine can you find the answer to the problem. The spleen is the source of Qi and blood production, and this Qi has many functions, such as pushing, warming, and defending, one of which is called consolidation.

Bleeding

If there is blood stasis and bleeding, use blood-activating and hemostatic drugs. This kind of medicine can both activate blood circulation and stop bleeding, that is, two-way regulation (such as Panax notoginseng).

For patients with bleeding, even if they are both suffering from subcutaneous bleeding, TCM may diagnose A as qi not receiving blood, B as blood stasis bleeding, and C as blood heat bleeding. In other words, TCM treatment varies from person to person. When Western medicine treats a disease, its general direction is similar, but TCM is different. For example, for a cold, there are wind-cold, wind-heat, external wind-cold and internal heat... A cold can be diagnosed with more than a dozen types, and the advantage of this is that it is very targeted.

Temperament rises

It refers to the physiological characteristics of spleen qi moving upward and maintaining the upward transport of water and grain essence and the relative stability of the internal organs. In fact, it mainly talks about the spleen's role in transportation and transformation, and the direction of transportation.

Lift

Previously, we have discussed that the earth's qi rises to form clouds and is transported to the lungs. This reflects the rise of spleen qi, or ascending clarity - the essence of water and grain is transported upward (the second is to stabilize the internal organs).

When the function of ascending the clear is not good, the essence of water and grain cannot go up and cannot nourish the head and eyes, dizziness and blurred vision will occur. Therefore, once dizziness and blurred vision occur, Chinese medicine is likely to use spleen-tonifying and clear-raising medicine, especially like low blood pressure in modern medicine. If the blood pressure is not enough and the blood cannot go up, I will use medicine that tonifies the spleen and ascends the clear, such as Beiqi, which can both tonify the spleen and replenish qi and ascend. Then use Cimicifuga, which has no tonifying effect, but it has an ascending effect. Bupleurum also has no tonifying effect, but it also has an ascending effect.

Buzhong Yiqi Decoction is made up of Qi-tonifying herbs, but it contains Cimicifuga, Astragalus, and Chaihu, which not only tonify Qi, but also push Qi upward. When Qi moves, blood moves, and when Qi moves upward, blood follows, so dizziness can be easily solved with this method.

The above is low blood pressure, and the other is low blood sugar, which can also cause dizziness. In many humid places in the south, people often feel drowsy. The "drowsy" in "drowsy" belongs to humidity. Looking at the characteristics of humidity, humidity is like water, and it moves downward, so people will feel drowsy.

In fact, dampness can also be understood as water. Once the water vapor covers the body, the qi cannot go up, and may even go down. At this time, the treatment must go up, which can also solve the feeling of drowsiness. This is in the upper part.

The second one is in the middle. If the essence of water and grain cannot rise up, it will stay in the middle. In fact, you can say that abdominal distension and poor appetite are due to indigestion, and the characteristic of indigestion is that it cannot rise up and stays in the middle.

Going a step further, it manifests in the lower part, which is more troublesome. The essence of water and grain does not rise but falls, resulting in loose stools or even diarrhea.

Note: The expression of diarrhea and clearing the stomach is more serious than the previously mentioned incomplete digestion. Clearing the stomach certainly involves incomplete digestion, but incomplete digestion can form stool. In addition to the stool being what you eat, diarrhea and clearing the stomach also results in unformed stool. At this level, it is spleen yang deficiency, which is more serious than spleen qi deficiency, and even the stool cannot form. Therefore, when Chinese medicine treats diarrhea and clearing the stomach, two factors will be considered: one is insufficient yang qi, and replenishing yang; the other is to help you raise it.

Lifting internal organs

Lifting the internal organs is a treatment for sagging internal organs. Tall and thin people are prone to sagging internal organs. If you are thin, your muscles are weak, and if you are tall, there is more space, so your internal organs will fall down.

Since the spleen has the function of lifting, Chinese medicine uses the method of lifting the spleen whenever the internal organs sag. All internal organs sagging are related to the spleen.

Hepatic ptosis = liver qi sinking, nephroptosis = kidney qi sinking

The spleen belongs to the earth element. What are the characteristics of the earth element? Supporting things. Supporting things is the function of the earth element. Your sagging is because the earth element is not strong enough to support you. So no matter what kind of sagging you have, you should use the method of tonifying the spleen and raising the qi.

If kidney ptosis occurs, add some kidney-tonifying medicine; if liver ptosis occurs, add some liver-soothing medicine.

I accidentally mentioned the same treatment for different diseases. Although they are different diseases, the principles of Chinese medicine are the same. As long as the principles are the same, the methods used are the same. Mild visceral prolapse can probably be treated with Chinese medicine.

You can promote internal organs and extend them outwards. Don't learn it in a rigid way. Chinese medicine is about principles, which is that anything that is sagging should be replenished, benefiting the Qi and raising the Yang.

You can lift the internal organs and extend them outwards. Don't learn it in a rigid way. Chinese medicine is about principles, which is that anything that is sagging should be treated with tonifying the middle and replenishing qi.

For example, if you have a herniated intervertebral disc, the kidney governs the bones, so the problem may be related to kidney deficiency. You should replenish the kidney first. Why do other people's intervertebral discs not herniate, but yours do? Because your support is not enough, which is the same principle as not being able to lift up the internal organs. You need to lift them up.

Similarly, elderly people have a lot of eye bags, which are sagging, so they need to replenish the middle, invigorate the Qi and raise the Yang.
