Cryptorchidism is a congenital malformation in medicine. Generally speaking, parents often discover it when their children are older. Therefore, for young couples, when the child is born, they should check whether there is such a congenital malformation. Nowadays, surgery is used in medicine to treat this disease. What are the precautions after cryptorchidism surgery? Note 1: After the operation, check the child's consciousness and pupils. If the child is not fully conscious, he/she should lie flat without a pillow and tilt his/her head to one side to prevent accidental aspiration. Note 2: Provide ECG monitoring, low-flow oxygen inhalation, monitor body temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and blood oxygen saturation, and handle any abnormalities promptly; Note 3: The connections of the infusion tube should be tightly connected, and attention should be paid to protecting the limbs receiving the fluid, so as to prevent the child from becoming restless when fully awake, and to remove the indwelling needle tube. If necessary, an infusion pump should be used to control the infusion speed to ensure the amount of fluid infused; Note 4: The patient should lie flat for 10 to 14 days after the operation, with the lower limb on the affected side abducted to avoid increasing abdominal pressure and affecting the healing of the surgical site. If the patient takes a semi-recumbent position, a soft pillow should be placed under the knee to relax the abdominal muscles and reduce abdominal tension. The hip joint should not be flexed when lying in bed to avoid testicular relaxation and testicular retraction. Note 5: You can eat liquid food 6 hours after the operation, and eat easily digestible food with high fiber content on the second day. Remember to drink plenty of water and eat more vegetables and fruits. Because you will stay in bed for a long time after the operation, your bowel movements will be slow, and water will be absorbed by the intestines, causing dry stools and constipation. Note 6: Keep the perineal wound dressing clean and dry. If it becomes wet, notify the medical staff to replace it in time to prevent wound infection. When the wound is severely painful, deep breathing, exhalation and other methods can be used to relieve the pain. If ineffective, analgesics and sedatives can be given in appropriate amounts to relieve the pain. At the same time, nursing intervention measures such as massage and verbal comfort can be added. |
