How urination and ejaculation work

Causes of semen leakage after urination

However, if the contraction rhythm of the vas deferens is disordered during ejaculation, or the bladder sphincter does not contract at the same time, the semen can be discharged into the bladder instead of the urethra. This is called retrograde ejaculation. In addition to functional reasons, retrograde ejaculation is mainly caused by organic lesions in the bladder neck sphincter, which makes the contraction function disordered and cannot be tightly closed during ejaculation.
