What causes enlarged testicles?

Testicles are very important to us, because a man with testicles is a real man. Testicles are rich in male secretions. However, in life, boys nowadays sometimes do not pay attention to hygiene, which may cause problems in the testicular area. Because it is a private part, many men are embarrassed and at a loss. They want to go to the hospital for examination but are worried about digestion. So what is the problem with enlarged testicles?

Scrotal swelling: We know that scrotal swelling is mostly caused by scrotal skin diseases. Skin edema, inflammation, trauma, congestion and scrotal skin lesions can all cause scrotal swelling. These skin symptoms are very obvious and easy to diagnose and treat.

Hydrocele: Common in children, one side of the testicle is enlarged, and the size difference between the two sides of the testicle is obvious. Early hydrocele is not a big problem, and sometimes it can be absorbed and recovered by itself. However, if the accumulation of fluid is large, it will affect the blood circulation of the testicle, and if not handled properly, it may cause testicular atrophy and infertility. At this time, it is necessary to consider whether surgical treatment is needed.

Varicose vein: This is the most common reproductive system disease in men. It is often characterized by pain on one side of the testicle, usually a pulling pain, and most varicocele occurs on the left side. The varicocele is dilated and tortuous, which means that there is something wrong with the vein. In addition, varicocele is one of the causes of male infertility, and it is often one of the factors that cause low sperm motility.

Epididymitis: This disease mostly occurs in young men. When it occurs, the local scrotal skin becomes red and swollen, and there is obvious tenderness. Some people even have a fever. Chronic patients have slight pain in the affected area and a feeling of falling. When touched, a hard lump is found below the testicle in the scrotum, forming the so-called testicular nodule.

Orchitis: You must not take acute orchitis lightly. In addition to local testicular redness, swelling, heat and pain, it is also accompanied by fever, which is often a complication of mumps. The greatest harm of this disease is that it destroys the spermatogenic epithelium function of the testicles and is the main cause of azoospermia. It must be taken seriously and treated in time.

Testicular torsion: As the name suggests, the angle of the testicle changes under the action of external force. When testicular torsion occurs, it is a big problem. When the disease occurs, the testicle suddenly becomes extremely painful, often accompanied by prolapse. It can cause redness and swelling of the scrotum, and accumulation of fluid and blood in the vagina. It is necessary to go to the urology department for treatment in time.

Testicular tumor: Testicular tumors are almost always malignant. This must be explained. When the size of one testicle increases, the weight of the testicle increases, and the shape of the testicle changes, you should think of the possibility of a tumor. Once diagnosed, the enlarged testicle should be removed immediately.

In the above article, we introduced the importance of testicles to male friends. We recommend that male friends should pay attention to protecting their testicles in daily life and be careful not to let the testicles get injured. In addition, if the testicles have itching, redness, swelling, odor, etc., go to the hospital for examination in time and take good care of the private parts.
