Causes of itching due to glansitis

I believe that many men will feel itchy glans penis at ordinary times. This is a very common phenomenon. There are many reasons for this situation. Most of them are caused by infection, such as trichomonas infection. For example, not paying attention to personal hygiene or unclean sex life can cause itching of glans penis. Let's follow the editor to see what are the causes of itching of glans penis inflammation!

1. Trichomonas infection: It is usually caused by the partner suffering from vaginal trichomoniasis. The symptoms are mild, mainly manifested as erythematous papules and small blisters on the glans. The patient often feels itchy, and trichomonas can be found in the secretions.

2. Chemical substances: Chemical substances cause itching and burning sensation. The infected area is not as large as infectious balanitis, but is a single or small abrasion-like area with obvious boundaries.

3. Contact phimosis: mainly caused by the use of local disinfectants or ointments.

4. Candida infection: Candida is a conditionally pathogenic fungus, so candidal glans inflammation often occurs secondary to diabetes and is mostly transmitted by the spouse's candidal vaginitis. The glans and coronal sulcus may have light red erosions and thin-walled abscesses, but Candida is often not found locally, which may be caused by local allergic reactions caused by Candida.

5. Traumatic balanoposthitis: It is usually caused by a blow, a zipper or an injury during sexual intercourse. The foreskin may be very red, swollen and painful. If it is caused by a parasite infecting the penis and scratching it, it will be accompanied by an itchy feeling.

6. Amoeba infection: It is caused by intestinal amoebiasis. Most patients first have phimosis and glans inflammation. Local erosion, ulceration, and tissue necrosis may occur. Amoeba can be found by direct smear of secretions.

The above article introduces the causes of itching caused by glans inflammation. Although it is a very common phenomenon, it is very harmful. If not treated in time, it will induce a series of men's diseases. Therefore, it should be treated with caution. When you find physical discomfort, you should go to the hospital for relevant examinations in time to avoid delaying treatment time.
