What is penile foreskin edema?

Many men are worried and anxious about edema in the foreskin of the penis. After all, such a phenomenon will cause some adverse effects and harm to men's reproductive health, and may even affect their sexual ability or fertility. Therefore, male friends should pay attention to these reproductive health issues in their lives. If they understand the cause of foreskin edema, they can treat it more quickly and effectively.

It is incarcerated foreskin edema.

Incarcerated phimosis is a common complication of phimosis or prepuce that is too long, and is often seen after masturbation or sexual intercourse. When the penis is erect and the foreskin is too long, the foreskin may be forcibly turned upwards during sexual intercourse. After turning over to the top of the penis head, it is not restored, and the foreskin mouth is tightly tied to the coronal sulcus. As a result, the turned-up foreskin ring is too tight, like a hoop, tightly wrapped around the front end of the penis, blocking the circulation, causing obstruction of blood supply to the distal penis and foreskin, affecting lymphatic and venous return, and the head of the penis will be obviously swollen, painful or cause edema. This is called incarcerated phimosis (phimosis). After the foreskin becomes edematous, the narrow ring of the foreskin opening becomes tighter and tighter. If not treated in time, the incarcerated foreskin will last for a long time and the foreskin and glans penis (glans) may necrotize and fall off due to ischemia of the glans penis.

This phenomenon is common in newlyweds. Due to emotional impulse and intense sexual behavior, the foreskin is turned up and embedded in the coronal sulcus. Although it is painful and uncomfortable, it is difficult to tell others, so the symptoms are delayed and gradually aggravated. The incarceration affects the circulation of blood and lymph, causing edema. If the incarceration time is too long, the foreskin will turn purple and large blood sacs will form on the foreskin. Over time, it can cause the glans to rot or even necrotize, causing lifelong pain. Therefore, early treatment is very necessary.

In fact, whether it is genital disease or other body diseases, we must fully understand the real cause so that we can treat it symptomatically and solve the occurrence of various adverse factors. We also hope that after reading the above introduction, every male friend can do a good job in reproductive health care.
