What causes prostate hyperplasia?

As men age, many troubles will follow, such as frequent urination, painful urination, and urgent urination. When you go for a checkup, the doctor may tell you that you have prostate hyperplasia. This disease is currently a disease that endangers men's physical and mental health and even threatens family harmony. After the symptoms appear, patients often experience great psychological pressure. So, what causes prostate hyperplasia?

1. People who don't pay attention to their diet, like to eat spicy food, greasy food, smoke, and drink alcohol are more likely to suffer from prostate hyperplasia, because spicy food and alcohol have irritating effects on the prostate and urethra, which can cause discomfort or vascular dilation, resulting in congestion and edema of the prostate, thereby reducing the resistance of the prostate. Other studies have shown that obesity caused by excessive nutrition is related to prostate hyperplasia. Excessive consumption of nutritious foods such as fat, meat, and dairy products will increase the risk of prostate hyperplasia.

2. Lack of hormones. Prostate hyperplasia is caused by the gradual atrophy of the testicles and the decrease in estrogen secretion, which makes the prostate more sensitive to estrogen.

3. Excessive sexual life. Excessive sexual life will cause congestion of sexual organs. The prostate will also enlarge due to prolonged congestion. Excessive and continuous congestion will increase the risk of prostate hyperplasia. Moreover, unclean sexual life will cause sexual organ infection, thereby reducing resistance. In addition, attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the prostate area, because the scrotum and foreskin are easy to hide dirt and dirty bacteria may take the opportunity to enter, thus causing prostate disease.

4. Lack of good bowel habits. Some people are used to holding back urine and feces. This is a very bad habit. Frequent holding back of urine will cause toxins to accumulate in the urine, which will directly damage the prostate and lead to related prostate diseases.

Because of not paying attention to diet and liking to eat some high-fat and high-calorie foods, it will lead to prostate hyperplasia; and indulgence in sexual life is also a cause of prostate hyperplasia. To prevent this disease, in addition to paying attention to the above four problems, you should also pay attention to doing more physical exercise, so that you can enhance your body's resistance and reduce the possibility of illness.
