Can Penile Cancer Be Cured?

Penile cancer is one of the common malignant tumors of the male reproductive system. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is called "kidney rock". Because it ruptures over time and turns into a pomegranate-like shape, it is also called "turning flower chancre". This kind of symptom will cause great harm to the patient's body, and if it is not treated in time, it may also cause tumor cells to spread to other areas. So can penile cancer be cured?

1. Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment

(1) Liver Qi Stagnation and Phlegm Congealing Syndrome

Main symptoms: Initial onset of local hard nodules, like the shape of a ham, small and hard, painless or slightly painful, partial itching. Accompanied by bloating and discomfort in the ribs, lower abdominal discomfort, pale or red tongue, greasy white fur, and deep pulse.

Treatment method: Soothe the liver, regulate qi, clear liver fire, resolve stagnation, relieve cough and reduce phlegm.

( 2) Liver meridian dampness and heat syndrome

Main symptoms: In the middle and late stages of the disease, the hard lump ruptures and looks like a flower turning over, and sometimes there is foul-smelling, bloody secretions. The inguinal lymph nodes are swollen and painful, the urine is red, yellow, astringent and painful, irritability and dry mouth, red tongue, yellow and greasy tongue coating, and deep and rapid pulse.

Treatment method: clear away heat, remove dampness, eliminate toxins and reduce swelling.

(3) Kidney Qi Deficiency Syndrome

Main symptoms: In the middle and late stages of the disease, the male genitals swell and the necrotic flesh enlarges, resembling a pomegranate with flowers turning over. There is pain in the heart, hot flashes in the afternoon, sweating at night, dry mouth and yellow urine, red tongue with little coating, and a weak and rapid pulse.

(4) Qi and blood deficiency syndrome

Main symptoms: In the middle and late stages of the disease, the glans penis rots, with a foul-smelling, thick, bloody exudate, the ulcer surface is flesh-pink to light red, or brown and dull, or a lump falls off, but new flesh does not grow, and the bilateral inguinal lymph nodes are significantly swollen and tender. The patient is thin, tired, weak, pale, pale tongue with little coating, and a deep, thready pulse.

Treatment method: nourish blood and qi, remove toxins and resolve knots.

2. External treatment methods

(1) Surgical treatment: 1) For male genital precancerous lesions, such as male genital leukoplakia, male genital horn, male genital papilloma, male genital proliferative erythema, male genital chemofibromatosis, etc., immediate medical treatment or surgical treatment is required. Patients with prepuce that is too long or too long should also undergo circumcision before puberty; 2) For stage I or II penile cancer, partial genital removal should be performed according to the situation. If there is suspected metastasis of inguinal cancer and the biopsy is positive, lymph node removal should be performed 3 weeks after the primary cancer wound is repaired; 3) For patients with large tumors or tumors limited to the male genital trunk, male genital incision should be performed immediately. For patients with inguinal cancer metastasis, inguinal lymph node and iliac vascular lymph node removal should be performed separately.

(2) Special treatment methods: 1) For patients with early-stage cancer who are diagnosed with no cancer metastasis, conservative treatment with external application of Chinese herbal medicine can be used.

3. Organic chemotherapy: (1) For the treatment of precancerous lesions and early superficial cancer, 5% fluorouracil cream can be applied externally, or 5% fluorouracil solution can be applied to the face. (2) For patients with localized tumors, 3-5 mg of fluorouracil can be injected at the base of the tumor every other day for one month. (3) For patients with metastatic tumors, after penile cancer removal, 15-250 g of fluorouracil can be injected intramuscularly once a day or every other day, with a total output of 300-600 mg. Add 500 mg of fluorouracil to 500 ml of 5% glucose solution and drip intravenously.

4. Other treatments: (1) radiotherapy; (2) cold therapy; (3) laser therapy; (4) diet therapy. In addition, Tai Chi therapy can also be combined to enhance immunity and facilitate rehabilitation.
