How to treat left testicular effusion?

Male friends should be familiar with left testicular effusion. After all, the incidence of this disease is relatively high, and it is also very common in newborn boys. Many patients will feel worried after being diagnosed, fearing that it will affect their future fertility. In fact, as long as it is treated in time, it can be completely cured. Then the editor will talk about all possible treatment options.

1. Conservative treatment: Left testicular effusion can usually be absorbed by itself, and no treatment is needed except for severe infection or other lesions. Primary hydrocele has a short course, small amount of effusion, low tension in the capsule, and no testicular atrophy or male infertility. For traumatic effusion or acute inflammatory effusion, the treatment of the primary disease is the main treatment, and local hot compresses, physical therapy, etc. can be used to promote absorption.

2. Puncture and fluid extraction: Puncture and fluid extraction is performed on patients with left testicular effusion after multiple aspirations. Although it has a certain effect, the treatment of left testicular effusion is not thorough and is prone to recurrence.

3. Injection therapy: After the fluid is drawn, irritating drugs such as silicine and sodium morrhuate are injected into the vaginal cavity to cause inflammatory adhesions. This is to eliminate the vaginal cavity. However, this method has a large reaction, incomplete adhesions, and the formation of multi-chambered vaginal hydrocele. This brings more difficulties to future surgical treatment. Currently, regular specialist hospitals no longer use this method.

4. Surgical treatment: If the cyst is large and has high tension, it may affect the testicular blood supply and testicular development. Surgery is the main method for treating hydrocele. During the operation, the sac of the vagina should be opened and the vagina should be turned over. For communicating hydrocele, the vaginal process should be ligated at a high position. Careful hemostasis should be performed during the operation, and a rubber membrane should be placed for drainage to prevent the formation of scrotal hematoma.

Generally speaking, there are many ways to treat left testicular effusion. When treating it, you should choose the appropriate method according to the patient's condition and willingness, so that you can achieve the purpose of targeted treatment. In addition, the editor would like to remind all patients that they must control their sexual desire during the illness and be careful not to overwork their bodies.
