Causes of bleeding after circumcision

Causes of bleeding after circumcision

Modern men generally suffer from the phenomenon of foreskin being too long to a certain extent. This phenomenon has a very negative impact on men's physiological hygiene and health. Foreskin being too long can easily lead to the occurrence of male diseases. Therefore, most men will choose circumcision surgery for treatment. However, surgery has risks. Some men have symptoms of bleeding after circumcision surgery. What causes this?

1. Bleeding caused by loose ligature or falling of ligature during surgery; or bleeding caused by not ligating small blood vessels after clamping them during surgery and no active bleeding, and then reopening the blood vessels after surgery. This type of bleeding is most common after circumcision, and the local sutures need to be opened again to ligate the bleeding points, and then the wound needs to be re-sutured. This type of bleeding should be discovered early after surgery and treated in time to avoid prolonged bleeding and hematoma, which affects the prognosis.

2. A small amount of bleeding occurs at the edge of the incision and the frenulum during the operation. Because not enough attention is paid, the bleeding continues after the operation. To prevent this type of bleeding, the bleeding point can be sutured when the incision is sutured, or an electric scalpel can be used to stop the bleeding. If this type of bleeding has already occurred, pressure bandage or re-suture can be used.

3. Premature activity or penile erection after surgery can cause postoperative bleeding. To prevent this type of postoperative bleeding, patients and their families should be made aware of the importance of taking sedatives and estrogen before surgery, and should avoid activities that may injure the wound, such as cycling, running, or walking for too long.

From the above explanation, there are many reasons for bleeding after circumcision surgery, and the reason for this phenomenon is more embarrassing for men. Not only that, it can also cause physical diseases, especially male diseases, which is very unfavorable for men and requires men to pay attention.
