What causes pain after urination?

Severe pain when urinating is a problem faced by many men nowadays. Generally, it is necessary to consider whether it is caused by prostate problems, bad living habits, or urinary tract infection. Because this phenomenon occurs for many reasons nowadays, everyone must first clarify the cause before they can treat and solve it accordingly.

Why does urination hurt? Pain is a typical symptom of some men's inflammations, especially prostatitis. In addition, excessive drinking, staying up late and other bad habits can also cause urination pain. When you have this symptom, you must keep your private parts clean and go to a regular hospital for treatment. Do not apply any treatment privately. Urinary pain refers to pain in the urethra, bladder and perineum during urination. The pain can be mild or severe, often burning, and in severe cases it can be as painful as a knife. Urinary pain is common in urethritis, prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia, seminal vesiculitis, cystitis, urinary tract stones, bladder tuberculosis, pyelonephritis, etc. According to the characteristics of urinary pain, it helps to clarify the diagnosis of the disease.

If hematuria is accompanied by long-term frequent urination, urgency, and pain during urination, it is more likely to be renal tuberculosis.

If hematuria is accompanied by swelling of the eyelids, face or body, increased blood pressure and fever, it may be acute nephritis; if hematuria is accompanied by severe urinary frequency, urgency and pain, it is mostly acute cystitis.

If urination is not smooth and the urethra is not painful, but the urine is light red with the naked eye or a small amount of red blood cells are seen under the microscope, it is mostly a symptom of prostatitis; if there is hematuria and low back pain, sometimes severe paroxysmal low back pain - renal colic, it may be kidney or ureteral stones;

Everyone should pay more attention to their physical health. If they find any abnormal problems, they should take targeted treatments and solutions to help themselves prevent them as much as possible, because many times some diseases occur because of negligence in their lives or bad living habits.
