Medication is very effective in improving men's problems, and it does no harm to the male body, so it is a good choice. Then what is the reason for the pain in the glans? There are many reasons for the pain in the glans, and there are some good ways to relieve it.

What's wrong with the glans pain?

1. Excessive sexual indulgence

Excessive sexual intercourse, especially among newly married young people, can cause prolonged congestion of the reproductive organs, leading to local swelling and pain in the glans penis. Sexual intercourse should be moderated.

2. Foreskin is too long

Male sexual intercourse pain is common in patients with prepuce that is too long and accompanied by balanitis, especially those with phimosis. During sexual intercourse, if the prepuce is too long and the sexual movements are too rough, causing the foreskin to be forcibly turned up, it will cause glans pain.

3. Infectious factors

Such as prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, urethritis, etc. can cause glans pain.

4. Penis/stem deformity

Deformities of the penis can also cause glans pain.

5. Allergic to condoms

Some men may have an allergic reaction to condoms when using them, which often causes pain in the glans penis.

Treatment of glansitis

The basic principle of Western medicine treatment is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Generally, both internal and external treatments are used. Erythromycin and tetracycline are the first choice for the treatment of acute superficial balanitis and annular effusive balanitis. Generally, 0.5g is taken 4 times a day.

The first choice for the treatment of trichomonal balanitis is 0.2g per dose, 3 times a day, for 10 consecutive days. For the treatment of balanitis caused by Candida albicans, trichostatin or itraconazole is often used. Trichostatin 100,000 to 200,000 units, 2 times a day, itraconazole 100mg per dose, 2 times a day, for 7 consecutive days.

After understanding why the glans pain occurs, you can follow the above methods to relieve the pain. However, it should be noted that during the treatment of the glans pain, men must choose light food and avoid eating complex foods, as this will not be good for the male body.
