Clinical manifestations of male thyroid tumor

Clinical manifestations of male thyroid tumor

When treating male diseases, you cannot choose the treatment method arbitrarily. Choosing the treatment method arbitrarily will not help improve the male disease. In addition, when treating male diseases, men's living habits must also be improved. Bad male living habits will also affect the treatment of the disease. So what are the clinical manifestations of male thyroid tumors? This type of disease also has many manifestations. The following is a detailed introduction.

Male thyroid tumor:

Clinical manifestations

Papillary carcinoma and follicular carcinoma usually have no obvious symptoms in the early stage. The former may sometimes seek medical treatment due to enlarged cervical lymph nodes. As the disease progresses, the mass gradually increases in size and becomes hard, and the mobility of the mass decreases when swallowing. The above symptoms of undifferentiated carcinoma develop rapidly and invade surrounding tissues. In the late stage, hoarseness, difficulty breathing, and difficulty swallowing may occur. Compression of the cervical sympathetic ganglia may produce Horner syndrome. When the superficial branches of the cervical plexus are invaded, the patient may have pain in the ears, pillow, shoulders, etc. There may be metastasis to the cervical lymph nodes and distant organ metastasis (lungs, bones, central nervous system, etc.).

In addition to neck masses, patients with medullary carcinoma may experience diarrhea, palpitations, facial flushing, and low blood calcium levels due to the production of 5-hydroxytryptamine and calcitonin by the cancer. For patients with a family history, the possibility of multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type II (MEN-II) should be noted.

After understanding the clinical manifestations of male thyroid tumor, the treatment of male thyroid tumor needs to be carried out according to the manifestations of the male disease. It should also be noted that during the treatment of such a disease in men, men should not get angry. An overly irritable temper in men will not help relieve thyroid tumor.
